Brother. The way you used AI so you'd know exactly NOT to do is such an important different perspective on how to use it as a TOOL. your videos always feel so fun to watch, ive never expected to see a speedpaint/timelapse video to be that cool yknow
this one was rad as hell. sometimes restrictions (especially in the form of commissions) can really push oneself to the point of being uncomfortable/unsatisfied, and it ends up showing a bit in the end result... but sometimes those restrictions end up breeding creativity in just the right way and it really shines. some of my favorite art pieces in the past have been ones ive created with limitations. something about restricting the spectrum of possibilities makes it much easier to do the best with what you have and really hone in the things you can do super well.
anyways, im sure the commissioner was over the moon, 'cause this work is really solid and perfect for what they were asking for. and to think you did this in a much shorter time than usual!

I really like the drawing, but it looks a bit like the place the character sits in is flying in the sky, because of the absence of the background. The sunlight made it better though.
