Well.. since SLi is basically dead now, there isn't much point to overdoing GPU configurations. it's almost exclusively better to go with one monolithic GPU than it is to get two lesser cards and try to tie them together with CrossFire or SLi. DX12 EMA seems a bit more promising for the future, though..
And besides, CPUs commonly bottleneck before the GPU.

There's one little problem with this. It's not the editing or the RGB overkill (I love it) but the pipes... They are ugly AF, aren't parallel to each other, have kinks and aren't lined up with the edges of the hardware.

Personally I like fully RGB fans like those from Corsair paired with RGB blocks for CPU and GPU but with plain black sexy fittings and clear coolant and having black and chrome and/or silver components elsewhere with sleeved cabling and BTW the RGB NEEDS to be individually addressable and be able to have onboard storage somewhere to control it

I have a 7700K@4.8 and a 1080ti 2050Mhz in a watercooling loop with one 360mm rad and a 240 rad and my gpu never goes above 55c, but before when it was aircooled it went up to about 75c (Aourus Xtreme 1080 Ti).
Big diffrence.

People hated the anti RGB build because it was poorly done with no payoff. LTT videos like that usually have a "so crazy it might just work" feeling, but at the risk of sounding harsh that one was just so lifeless and ultimately a waste of time.

Yes, I was thinking that too - it looks beautiful but the pipes are just a bit off. Would be spectacular if they were spot on. I'm guessing they have time constraints when doing this - and they aren't tradies either, so their use of tools leaves a bit to de desired at times, but for a pack of PC geeks, they do ok. Would still be happy with it on my desk (if it was strong enough to hold it - how much does that puppy weigh anyway?)

Fiberoptic is for data transfer, and they have to be sealed so no light can be leaked out, don't think that would work...
JD recycling there are actually some fiber optic cables that allow light to pass through. The Tower 900 is the most BAD ASS chassis I have ever worked with. I can't wait to get the 560mm radiators in.
They're going to be chilled by 8 Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000's. Actually, every single fan port on this system is populated with one of those. We call it "The Fridge"

The electrician in me can't get over how crooked those hard line tubes are. For what is such a nice build, somebody really should have taken more time into getting the pipes square.

I'm a plumber and I am not impressed with the pipes in this build.
could looked amazing with straight lines and some extra symmetrical bends at the right places.
also as you said the cables and the pipes totally squared would made this look absolute premium.
Now it's cool but no skill is shown with piping and cables in my opinion..
