So much additional space! I could see a "drawer" with all the storage (HDD, SSD) built in being great for people who film videos in slow mo or at high resolutions, as it allows easy access for expansion and removal, and a second graphics card could also be added, as well as a second mini-pc for running a server (or, as i've heard some youtubers use it for, for uploading a video while using their main PC), the desk allows for a lot of design space, moreso if you gave yourself another inch or two to work with. Very nice!

Hmm that is a good idea. Also perhaps a draw for the laptop/tablet/phones - so they can be charging and connected to the PC - probably a draw with a powered USB hub in the back so only only the pair of cables that tether the draw?
Has to be said though this is a seriously wasteful design - there is more than enough depth to use the largest case fans you can get your hands on, which will be much more energy efficient, quieter, almost certainly perform better and are significantly cheaper. Still need to do the same thing he did with airflow guides and I'd cut a few wedge shaped blocks of wood so the fans can be mounted with as much tilt as possible - as that will improve airflow a little bit.

    • @MichelleTamezPerez

An ITX motherboard where you install the gpu like in the video, but also get a couple m.2 slots, theres a couple Corsair SFF psus that have a better bigger fan for less sound than the Seasonic server psu on the video and with ATX12VO around the corner we will start to see more compact psu's.
then for the HDD i would get some NZXT old brackets or the complete encase for hdds, this to reduce vibrations i liked a lot the way the hdd's were installed in the video but it coul be better. for ssd's tho it really doesnt matter. altough taking in consideration a drawer aproach, it could be very useful for doing hot swaps.
For heat dissipation the desing was superb, i would however increased the desk interior clearence to standar ATX PSU, it would have locked chunkier yes, but you could have added an exhaust bottom fan for the cpu cooler, heck maybe installed a good AiO cooler, i guess the motherboard temperarute was OK but i didn't see any VRM or socket temps.
I really enjoyed this video since i want to do a project like this for a small pc under the tv in my bedroom to run Android Tv and replace the RokuTv experience.

Lots of woodworkers like myself use contact cement when applying veneer. Its a lot less stressful than trying to use epoxy and not very messy. It should yield better results too. Also when veneering something as large as a table its much easier to purchase a paper backed veneer thats already the correct width, rather than joining 2 or more veneers on edge the way we are shown in the video. Always ask questions before making an expensive mistake!

I was thinking of using a standard sized power supply, given my proclivity for gaming, and figured that what I could probably do is create a side cabinet on the desk to house it. A secondary, fun idea I was toying with was extending the power button to the siding, where a small hole would be placed for it to set in, along with a button covering with the power symbol etched into it to maintain the wooden appearance, possibly to do something similar with a disk drive and USB ports with little sliding covers.

I never expected to see a PC in a desk battle -- I totally welcome that :)

I bet that the table crafted including the fans worth more than the components build into it. You can just hide the PC in the closet an have 0db noise. Anyway great project to have somethin unique at home though insanely expensive.
