So far the best quick and easy to understand tutorial video of Ride Command. I wish you could build a routing on the in-console unit and not have to import it. On the other hand, I really like the luxury of sitting on my lap top and creating new maps and downloading them to a flash drive.

Thanks for the vid. I have a problem with my new Polaris… i can log into my Polaris app ride command on my phone but when i go to my bike it says cant connect to app… what am i doing wrong? Thanks
Christina, is this for a motorcycle or a utv? Polaris phone app works on phones signal and you may not be able to connect due to that or a software update needed on your machine.
@@chrisnewfie Is your ride command unit connected to a wifi spot and or tethered to your cellular phone so it has data. ? If you do not have your Polaris ride command unit hooked to a wifi or tethered to your phone utilizing the cellular data you will not be able to connect.
Polaris ride command unit on its own does not have cellular , it works off GPS and if you are 2019 model or newer using the V2V antenna. If other riders within the group have the Polaris ride command unit along with the V2V antenna (Vechicle 2 Vechicle) that is the only way to utilize group ride with Polaris ride command unit on its own. if you have a riders that do not have Polaris ride command unit and they are using the application on the phone , the only way to group ride is using the application on your phone as that gives the cellular data to allow communication and you tether your phone to the Polaris ride command unit to be able to view on the screen . In short Polaris ride command group V2V does not communicate to ride command application via cellular.

Good job, but what if the other riders in you group don't have ride command in there machines. will this work if they have the app on there phones ?
