I chose the martini setting studs as the lab diamonds . Reason being , as both were being moved around in certain lighting , the martini set diamonds seemed to be a little whiter , meaning to me they are a higher color grade next to the 4 prong set earrings . Which is something you can do going lab diamond as opposed to mined diamond . With what you save going with a lab diamond , you can choose a higher color , clarity and cut grade . As far as going with a lab diamond for an engagement ring , you can choose a higher color , clarity and cut grade as well and go with a more beautiful custom made setting as opposed to a plain gold or platinum setting . Something with side stones , hidden halo , regular halo , thicker shank. Possibilities are pretty endless and a lot less sacrifice when you choose lab diamond over natural . Ofcourse unless like you said, someone is dead set on a mined diamond for their own personal reasons . Always Love these videos ! Thanks for sharing .
@@vee6411 totally agree ! With what can be done today and all of the gorgeous lab diamonds I have seen , I really think it’s a no brainer to go with lab diamonds . Why spend thousands more when you can get a better quality diamond for so much less ?? Most think mined diamonds hold their value over time , however unless you have some rare type of natural mined diamond , you will never get back what you paid for that natural diamond . My engagement ring and wedding band are both natural diamond , only because lab diamonds were not something I knew about back when I got engaged to my husband . While I love my wedding rings Ofcourse , if it were today , I would 100% go with lab diamond .
@@leeleelv Yes absolutely. And diamonds are not actually rare or that expensive, its just the marketing of diamonds = love that makes them so “precious”. The entire value pretty much rests in the exclusivity and how its cut/polished/treated. That being said, I’m sure there are people who want expensive diamonds just so they can say that its expensive. Personally, it’s about the look to me. If I can get a great looking piece for less money, that’s a win.
I guessed correctly too but not for the same reason. Natural diamonds give off a rich and luxurious look to me. The lab earnings are also beautiful but they give off a blueish hue so I don't see them as whiter at all, just a little more blue.
So, professional gemologists need to use a machine to really distinguish one from another but here we have a lot of people that can do it with the naked eye??
For some reason, it's obvious A are the natural mined diamonds. Usually, the lab grown diamonds are less distinctive from the mined, and the diamonds are almost impossible to tell apart.
Pair A is natural - real diamonds have blue hues when light hits Which you can see already see within the first 30 secs and lab grown are more firey with red And green hues
I guessed correctly immediately however, I see blue in both the natural and labs. The natural to me though looks very luxurious like an icy rock. I saw a very slight pink in the left lab earing but not the right one but that is something I would think as moissanite colors. My point is although labs are considered diamonds they are not the same as a natural diamonds and if people can tell them apart, that is confirmation. Both are beautiful, it's just a matter of which you like more.
My immediate thought was the earnings on the left are the natural diamonds. Both are gorgeous no doubt, but for me natural diamonds have a more rich and luxurious appeal to them which is odd because I know labs are real diamonds but I never get it wrong. I've never thought that natural and lab diamonds were exactly the same.
The people that say that are the ones that own labs. Experts (gemologists) have always said they can tell them apart even without a machine or scope. Labs are real diamonds, true, but they are not exactly the same as natural diamonds, even their flaws look different under a microscope.

That’s exactly what I thought, even after the reveal I still prefer the lab diamond.

That is what I did😎😎

😂😂 welcome to the World Wide Web
I knew it immediately
Hi. Love your videos. Very informative. Would you consider showing different styles of diamond wedding bands?
For some reason, it's obvious A are the natural mined diamonds. Usually, the lab grown diamonds are less distinctive from the mined, and the diamonds are almost impossible to tell apart.
Can you please make a video of the basket as well, not just the diamond? Thanks.

Id like to see these with updated prices. Wholesale, Lab diamond is cheap these days, only a little more than Moissanite.

Why then do people say you can't see the difference when your clearly can? Thanks

Part 1 are real
I could tell the difference immediately just because with the natural you can see the rock but the lab you can’t really see it
You can absolutely tell. And I was right. I usually am:
I guess right! 🙄
guessing the pair B is lab grown :o hope I'm right
I was right :D and I guessed that bc they were a bit more shiny and had 3 prongs instead of 4
