20 Minutes of Air Tankers! | 3 Conair Convair CV-580s at Penticton Airport (YYF)

Conair Aerial Firefighting, of Abbotsford BC operates a fleet of 4 Convair CV-580 air tankers. The CV-580 has flown in Conair's fleet since the early 2000s, and has played an important role in aerial firefighting in BC over the past two decades, but these airframes are soon to be retired in favour of Conair's latest aerial firefighting fleet of De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400s.
I was lucky to have got some exclusive close up footage of Conair's CV-580s for possibly the last year they see service. The footage in this video was from a training flight, except tanker 44 was flying to a fire near Lytton.
Enjoy 20 minutes of close up start ups, taxiing and takeoffs, featuring three of Conair's four CV-580s and a Turbo Commander 690B "bird dog."
