Got my 1st silver today and only my 2nd time out with the 800, 1947 dime.
Try it in all metal mode I find silver where there was thought to be none!
You’ll definitely find more silver

@@detectorben8007 the only diffrence is the weight and the particular cases of very deep coins, so yes i will need an upgrade just for that 10-20% increase.
@@Dilut2d Yeah the depth is definitely much better on equinox so if you have some deep targets then it will be worth it.

whats your opinion on the e-trac vs. 800
With both machines wearing stock coil the Nox has faster recovery speed and better target separation. The etrac gives a more stable ID on coins. Nox is much lighter and easier to swing. For deep silver in relatively clean ground I would prefer etrac or ctx. In trashy parks and iron infested ground the Nox outshines etrac. They are both great machines and compliment each other well.
I think I like the nox just as good as I like the etrac, in my experience the etrac is way better on target id. If you hit silver with the etrac you know you have silver.with the nox not so much.
Ben , yes it has it's benefits but it groups too many coins into the same group of TIDs.
It's getting the nickname , dig everything machine.

Adam Cooper Using small go pro action cam. Thanks. It was very windy as well which didn't help. What do you suggest to help with sound.
What GoPro are you using? If your using a waterproof case take it off. Unless your in the water. If it's and older gopro then the sound isnt going to be good. Try to upgrade if you can! In the mean time do more vids! can't get enough of the Nox vids. GOGOGO
Oh and mess with your settings. Try different ones and see what looks/sounds best.

Ben , I've spent many hours testing and many hours in the field with the Equinox. You'll find that it's not a coin machine ! The TID scale is to tight ! It's more of a relic machine. My Etrac and CTX ID targets much better.
I have over 200hrs in the field with my Nox. I agree the CTX is a better silver coin specific machine. The Nox is a more versatile all around machine IMO. And I have found even with the TID scale I can find coins nearly as effectively as my CTX. That coupled with the built in wireless and lightweight aspects of the Nox make it my go to machine. I rarely use my CTX anymore.

Man you need to lean to adjust your machine first so you don't go digging so much junk! you make the machine look bad....
