This is awesome! Regular cars being run hard by regular people. No mutli-million dollar teams here. Makes it more exciting because it's something people can relate to and seems anyone can take part.

I just got to know about this and this is more fun than any other pro race (like F1) You can see what's going on the whole time and the race ends in 1 minute. How can you get bored???

So I see american flags and Canadian flags, and theres an Australian announcer. Where the hell is this?!?!?!
Maine and Massachusetts, They have an American-Canadian stock car tour that races at these tracks.
Actually the announcer is American and thats how people in Maine and Massachusetts speak..Many people from different States and in Canada ,different Provinces have different accents..
You see both Canadian and American flags because the 2 Countries are very intertwined !! Not just trade,culture ..Basically Canadian Provinces are like 10 other State 's in the majority of ways,notice the majority of Canada's population is extremely close to the border ..Not much difference,its like going from State to State,little changes in law,accents but pretty much the same..
About the flags you mentioned..American and Canadians have many race series that go across borders..This for one..and what I know more of is Drag Racing ,and many more..Even Sports,Music just about everything you can think of...
I am more of a drag racer and they have West Coast Divisions that go from British Columbia,Washington,Oregon,California,Idaho etc...Even a Sprint Car series...Also East Coast etc has series like these...Even car clubs for car shows go across the borders all the time...We are the same,as 97% of trade from Canada goes to the U.S

@@sixstanger00 Most all California racetracks have long since been shut down due to noise complaints by the people who live in tract homes that were built..... right next to existing racetracks.

Where do they do these it's not drag racing i find it interesting could be a motorsport that a guy could get into cheaper as to much power could be a problem in the corner,and driver skill maybe more important than the vehicle.
mbsnyderc these are spectators just people who take their everyday cars out on the track, I've done it a bunch of times, lots of fun.

8:50 I really just watched someone slide an SI
There's a local dirt track near my home town that use to let ppl do a few laps in there street cars, it was an 1/8 mile dirt track known as Humberstone Speedway in Ontario Canada, unfortunately a guy in a 80's Cutlass lost control and rolled, was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt he was ejected from the car and crushed infront of about 2000 ppl they haven't had open lap nights since and that was back in 02-03

Where's this track located at, its bigger than Seekonk Massachusetts, Seekonk speedway on route 6 now, cheap to get in, best fireworks around with FREE parking, love the figure 8 course there with jumps and reverse races too. But I'd CONSIDER racing here in Spectator's race.

Awesome! I hope to go. I think it normally lasts about 2 hours. I always get tickets at the gate day of show, but I would recommend getting there at least a half hour early because it sells out sometimes (they are going from 3 events to 5 this year so maybe it won't be as busy, but still). Yea it's all general admission. Enjoy it!
