That has the potential of a head on at the half track and the winner crossing the line first! Clearly that Carvette with turbo....is set up for left turns only! The average car is set up for left and right turns! Personally I think the carvette should be disqualified from these competitions because it is not a street legal vehicle!
That Buick was definitely one of the supercharged V6's, later used in the Monte Carlo SS. They have 240 hp and only weigh 3500 lbs, not bad for a grandma car.
sounds about like my PT GT but the ass end bounces. should have been awd and independent rear suspension. then those pt's would have been super quick and nimble. also the turning radius is way too big for such a small car.
I had one of those for awhile. Great car. Nice stiff handling, comfortable ride, all the luxuries of the day. And that supercharger doesn't hurt either. ;)
One of the hop up tricks with the GP/MC with the supercharged 3800 L67 engine is to ‘add’ a turbo. As odd as it sounds the supercharged/turbo is tunable and adds to the hp. I own a ‘04 SS, lowered and beefed up suspension and brakes. Would love to see what it can do here on the oval. But not next to a crap box that pickles me into a guard rail. Hard to find good low mileage W-bodys these days.

He had a Pulley swap.. adds up to 50hp. Not good For the Car but puts the Stock PSI from 4 all the way to 10ish
