I just have had a bad taste with them since the josh stuff. A bunch of shady/messy grown adults. And I forgot to mention this but this is **NOT unbiased... none of my vids are I just went more in depth with it but my thoughts are always included. Josh and Tiff are next.

Same, watched every video for 3-4 years straight. I had an android so I would actually download old episodes and listen to them like a podcast 😂. But now it’s dead, & has been ever since they introduced Steve & Nikki as permanent members

@@flavialm1 look, either way, theyre crap without host/mediator. Tiff and Steve were good hosts of their own, but take those out and its all cringefest. Especially Bart. All their joke are senile, all sexual etc. Miss the ladies in the mix because there was great chemistry there. Back then it was like all good family/friends talking, now it all sounds like a locker room talk.

Literally checked back in after four years only to find out the entire crew has basically fallen apart. Completely in shock. Idk how to describe it but it’s like finding out a childhood friend went to prison.

All I gotta say is... David has gotta be the most self-righteous, pick-me dude I've ever seen. He just thinks if he barks at you as loud as he can with all the curse words in his limited vocab, that you'll cower away and hopefully Bart/Joe will reward him with a treat. He also thinks if he calls himself neutral or unbiased over and over, ppl won't notice how condescending/threatening he's being to "foes" of JK. Idk I'm sure he's not a bad person but he just conducts himself in such a ridiculous way

Damn this hurts lowkey I used to watch them daily back high school and middle school. I stopped watching around my junior year cause I found interest in other things and I just came back to this. But everything comes to an end I hope they all learn and grow from this experience
I grew up watching jk news as a middle/high schooler. There were some things that the crew said or did that made younger me uncomfortable/feel some type of way, and now that I'm older I understand a lot better now. I cannot believe the stuff they said and did was thought to be okay. I still remember UA-cam was very different back then. Tons of stuff was brushed off. As much as people like to say "this generation is so sensitive", etc, it's just that these bad things are being called out now.

Stating "don't let yourself be persuaded by one side of the story" while supporting reducing Olivia to a disgruntled ex-girlfriend and employee. & now, Tiffany is trying to get her "one side of the story" out there while being painted (and discredited) as an emotional, financially ungrateful, disgruntled employee. It seemed like it was her choice though, not that they demanded for her to do it. As that other comment mentioned and how she also said it in that clip they showed, she enjoyed doing that stuff and considered jk as part of her own.
I used to watch JK religiously, but not anymore. Without tiff, geo, Gina, jess,…it’s just not the same. Big Moods is good, but not great. All their channels are now my 2nd or 3rd option on UA-cam. With everything now days, not all business will last. It WAS a great ride. They all seem happy where they’re currently at. Joe found love, Bart & geo are in Vegas doing family things, tiff and case on their first child together. I secretly think Gina is super rich!!!! She’s got her nerdy gaming life. Jessica is no longer depressed, joe’s D was not enough for her hahahaha…EVERYONE IS HAPPY.

from day one, they only paid casey and didnt pay themselves, she was also offered severance pay but declined it, always complained and wanted to leave, said shes outgrown the humor. She would get fired acting like that at any job.

I had never heard any of this before and had no clue it had happened. I was a big fan for a number so years until Bart when on JKNews and recalled a time him a some friends sexually assulted a fellow cadet while laughing about the incident. It was the most disturbing thing I'd ever seen on the internet and the rest of the cast just brushed it off. They left the video up for a while too. I couldnt stand too look at any of them after that. Clearly not good people. I don't understand how they didn't get their channels shut down for putting that on UA-cam.
It wasn't a while it was only a few hours or so cause when I went to watch the new jknews videos later that day I didn't see the video and found out that they had taken one of the new videos down and why they took it down thru the comments of one of the other videos.

I was a fan, but I guess I just wasn't interested in them anymore by mid-2018. I guess it's a mixture of things they've said/did that I just can't defend anymore, the changeups, the shady stuff, me having a life and growing out of JK, ect. I haven't been watching their content since, but I have heard of their recent problems, changes, and drama occurring from them. It's sad watching them fall apart like this and seeing JK (especially the two owners) being shady. Mind you. I was one of their BIGGEST fans. I used to watch them everyday, especially JKNews. Of course, I'm happy for all of them (current and former JK members) that they have their own personal families/goals. But JK is not for me anymore. So I mean no offense to current JK fans. If you still watch them, that's cool. You do you.

kinda rly depends. tiff lost passion for it and wasn’t rly into it. i find the videos way more funny now than i did back then when certain ppl would get offended by comments. but i guess it’s all personal opinion. the channel is still all jokes and that would appease to some crowds and not others

I'm glad someone else is talking about this cause even though I love the crew as people the business was all messed up. And it was to be expected because they didn't have the management experience to keep things stable.
When Oliva was talking about her pay and also David's involvement reminded me of Tiffany so much. Tiff also expressed she didn't get paid well or what she was owed unless it was seen as a "friend doing you a favor" and giving you money I owe just like Olivia and others when they finally got an accountant (which since Tiff makes more than most of them was kind of demeaning but that's a whole other story).
And we all know as much as David says he wants to be neutral and stay out of drama while he gives facts he also speaks way out of his place. The whole one hour podcast low-key dragging Tiff that he eventually had to turn the comments off after "being ok with the backlash" smh 🤦🏽♀️

Tiffany got paid. She made around 1k a week for jk news. Not bad for 4 hours filming. They lifted the veil on how it operates where they only film for 1 day a week for 4 hours. The workload has been greatly exaggerated and all parties have admitted that.
@@CommunistReaper They used to film ALL day, a full 8 hour shift AND Tiff had to memorize and learn articles throughout the week adding at least another 15-20 hours to her work week. They've also all admitted that many times they would even do a 12 hour shift when they were really popular and swamped. Yeah it's decent pay but on top of her own stuff she can still be overwhelmed not to mention she did WAY more work and still got paid way less than David (if my math is correct he had approximately a 66% increase in his pay in comparison to hers). And you're right but only about the past 2-3 or so years of JK. Like, we know she got paid, but should she be paid astronomically less than the guests for HOSTING the show and the main point of why, if she's doing well financially, did the owners offer her "exit pay" by saying, "if you want it, we know a lot of people rely on this money" which sounds pretty condensing coming from people who are also your friends.

And for the stories that make him seem hard they aren't that uncommon for me, I live in North LB, CA between Compton and Paramount, folks around here, including myself, all got similar stories.

I am unbias and if anything I could care less, this is just entertainment for me. BUT if you ask me and how I feel. I'll tell you - I used to LOVE JK and all there sub-channels. When the Olivia situation occurred, I basically said what some have said - "we don't know the situation, we aren't on the inside". BUT as life went on, I remember seeing ONE comment on a UA-cam video that made me start question stuff, which the comment said (and paraphrasing don't remember the whole quote)- "Geo and the JK members are a business first and foremost and only sell you the image of "family" *insert Fast and Furious Dom gif/mems*. People who keep saying they want to work for JK don't understand the fact that they are a tight knit group of people and won't just accept anyone off the street. They sell the image of family to get people to buy there stuff and support them". That was the quote that opened my eyes and made me question JK as more videos of them come out and I watch them. I don't remember when I stopped watching them, but I did. It wasn't until literally a few months ago, when I finally remembered them and decided to watch one ep. of JkNews that - My gosh was it not watchable anymore AND that's when all the dirt came up when I questioned why some people where gone. AND low and behold, it was easily found on the web of all the shady stuff they've done that was buried beneath the dirt.
If you started out as a fan watching them when they were in there prime and watch them now. Most people would likely say JK isn't what they use to be and are quite sus now. Not only that but there main demographic has moved on and have grown up (I'm one of them). They are a former shell of themselves and if anything are lost in this "new" generation of UA-camrs and are basically misleading the few people they can still get.

I am so glad someone is finally talking about this. I became a fan in 2014 and i've watched the jk fam go from their peak of unique content and just fun times to their worst of pure toxicity and only making decisions for money and blaming fans when they make mistakes. Idk the whole thing is a mess and the only person i really support somewhat at this point is tiff and maybe nikki because they worked hard for jk and got alot of shit in the end.
every time I see the drama and read or hear the alleged versions of what happened behind the scenes, I always think of that Dark Knight quote "You Either Die a Hero, or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become the Villain"

Yes when olivia came forward about being fired in 2015 I thought it was fucked up but bart and Joe eventually made a response video a few months or so later addressing that they are still friends no beef and olivia was doing music for them. So I thought cool then just 2 weeks ago I found out tiff was fired and I realize welp they're doing the same whole thing again. Jk has come to shit after I stopped watching them in 2017 waited for more skits on jkfilms waited for their movie and never saw anything. Idk who's running jknews anymore I know bart and geo are in Nevada because I keep up with them on ig and Joe well Joe is Joe, and before all this David left jk to focus on himself and is now collaborating with tim even though he was never officially a member. They're going down the drain however the founders are already rich, just wish they kept to their roots

When Olivia left, was the first time I started side eyeing them. I loved her. She was so nice and TALENTED af. I didn’t stop watching them though. I eventually stopped because their content just got so bad to me. Bart…..I stopped liking him early on, I would just try to ignore him. But he got so insufferable after awhile. They just weren’t funny to me anymore.
I’m surprised no one talks about it , maybe everyone had forgotten of them .They are soo toxic especially David and Bart and they had let their ego go to the roof .
I don't think anyone cares about them anymore everyone moved on from them. Specially the OG fans they got older having jobs, college or having a family now. Some of there jokes wouldn't work now or else they be cancel idk how many times at this point. Joe needs to stop with the character he plays on video all the time it's annoying he really wants to be Bobby Lee so bad. All the channels they had were making mad money until youtube shut that down.
They were making mad stacks until UA-cam changed their policies and algorithm
They use to get a lot of money from their jk channels, but now they branched off onto separate channels, barbell, their food companies, sponsorships on IG etc. jk doesn’t make as much anymore after all the flagging and policies it kept breaking

JK has always been strongly clique-y, and certain individuals scenarios and cringey, uncomfortable stories overshadow others and get dismissed.
Use to watch it all the time when I was like 15-16 but then just stopped, then I saw a video pop up about 2years ago about a hot topic so I watch it, and a few other videos and…. Jeez it was like listening to a group of 13 years old trying to be edgy, or a stereotype of a frat house and these people literally are in their 30’s at this time. Tiffany was barely talking at that point and would try to say something to only get cut off, try to keep the others on track or stop them from saying something truly offensive. Tiffany was right in saying that these people and the channel have not grown up with their audience or really think about what they are putting out for the videos. Most people who defend their “humour” by calling it “edgy” are just being offensive, immature or simply rude.

Omg I've never heard of Olivia and she was so hard working the engine of that company I really wish I knew about her. They are disgraceful paying her that low for that much work. David did make a response with some truths but he was coming from his “honorary member/guest of jk” perspective. He kept saying tiff made a lot from an episode (which she definitely isn’t broke, even she admits that) but he failed to mention his pay rate was different from hers lol. Among other things, just a bunch of miscommunication but David really didn’t have to chyme in bc it mainly involved Bart Joe and tiff.. especially since David said he’s no longer doing jk news etc I don’t think he should’ve butted in when he didn’t know tiffs situation. (I respect him for standing up to someone bashing on his friends company,don’t get me wrong) but he himself said he doesn’t do much with jknews anymore and it wasn’t his business or “side” to tell. idk just a big mess really

I never knew none of this as before the pandemic I regularly watched and they seemed okay. The last thing I remember was Joe and Jess breaking up and still being cool but I could tell they were kind of sad about it especially Jess. Then I had major issues in my life when the pandemic hit and wasn't able to keep up with their channel. Now 2022 I hear this, but all I will say and be wise about all this regardless of who did what and who was right or wrong cause as a viewer and fan only I cannot know what really actually happened to make judgments and be seriously invested as I see some of these other comments to be confident in affirming what really happened because only those who are or were a part of jk only knows. So I don't want to be a fool in making claims from what it may seem to be or been told by unless those involve all admit to what it was which most likely won't be shared cause it's a private matter in the end.

I started watching them in 2013 when I was 12, I was such a big fan cause I thought they were so cool and seemed so genuine. It was my dream to work with/for Jk. But over the last four years watching them has felt like watching a slow motion train Reck. Still a big David So fan!
2 years later and get are still doing better than their haters.
I think the biggest problem is the relationship the group had. Some of them, by the looks of it, just had a more personal relationship outside the business. Like Olivia who was doing the stuff she was doing because of her relationship with Joe and Bart. That was her choice. Of course, when that relationship was over, Olivia now felt like she deserved something from the company.

I've seen like 6 different cast members from 2014 to 2017 and that really makes you wonder if the company is legit. Also sometimes they say some stupid ass shit, even if it was a joke it was dumb. Like when bart ask is one of their other friends liked being sexually assaulted after he told the story. And I'm pretty sure bart was serious. I dont watch them anymore but I not shock to hear about things like this. The tiff thing though kinda shocked me.

I started watching these guys in middle school and thought they were hilarious. At the time UA-cam was just full of edgy shit and commentary channels like leafy and idubzz so you could imagine what kind of kid I was at the time. I eventually started to come to realize a lot of thing about the channel. For one they’re extremely anti-black and when you call it out their fans go feral and call you sensitive. They’re also very ignorant when it comes to politics and social issues, especially Bart who will literally bend over backward to defend the police and military like his life depends on it. Overall the whole channel has always been weird and I’m glad ppl are actually starting to acknowledge it.

If they agreed to work for experience they need then that's what they agreed to like most interns. If they weren't ok with those terms they should have worked somewhere else. You can't get mad at a business for not paying interns who agreed to not be payed.

whats sad is that their jkn videos were mostly unproblematic and apolitical during their peak. like when they got their most views - esp on jkn - was when they reported on funny stuff. then the altright thing got super popular on youtube and they pandered to that by covering stories to bash on "sjws" and "snowflakes". they purposefully cultivated a fandom full of racist white incels, which is also why julia or geo got a lot of hate comments for simply existing - bc they are women. also tiff sometimes. i checked out some of their videos like two years ago and noticed they seemed to steer a bit more liberal bc of the whole upheaval of more progressive politics on youtube again. they always just pander and exploit according to whats popular at the time, so they def know what they're doing. now dont get me wrong, they are still right wing libertarians deep down still, its just that i feel like they suddenly amped that up during that 2015-16 time when the altright got huge on youtube.
i stopped watching around the time when that mayo steve dude joined, i always got racist vibes from him and ofc i was correct. also it always rubbed me the wrong way how joe treated his gfs and how they bullied josh. karma is really getting back at them bc i honestly thing they single handedly turned a lot of young ppl into alt righters
I used to love watching JK anything. It was around the time Geo got pregnant where I started to not watch as often. By the time Geo gave birth I had unsubscribed. It was just different.. not the same. After Tiffany was let go and she put a video out about what happened it all seemed to start making sense. The owners/higher ups in the crew are very unprofessional. I recently clicked on one of their newer videos just to see how things were going and it’s a lot of new faces and same old Joe. Joe is still the same guy he’s always been. I’m not sure if I expected him to be a little more mature or different, but that wasn’t the case. I’m honestly surprised the channel is still going. The video I watched they were saying how they have trouble getting guests and needed more people to be on their videos. The downfall is kinda sad, but the people who run it have nobody to blame but themselves.
I really wondered about olivia, cause I liked her as a host, but never followed her off of YT
Most of the people in jknews moved on on their own or just couldn’t be apart anymore like Jess didn’t want to be apart of it anymore. And others just moved on to better opportunities like Gina Julia.
Dam, growing up i've took a lot life lessons from JK, it sucks to see the og fam disintegrate. Although its great that they are happy in their own separate ways.

I stopped watching them regularly around 2016 and would watch a video or 2 every few months. Then around 2020 I couldn't stand watching them no more. Grown adults acting like immature children 🙄.
I used to watch Jk everyday, I even made a fan page about them but as I grew up I started noticing small things that didn’t sit well with me. Like how Steve and David have this God complex about them, Steve was talking about going to like a UA-camCon or something like that and he was basically Gatekeeping Sketch Comedy and saying how these kids nowadays have no idea what it is. Basically he was being bitter because they’re more famous than him doing tiktoks and stuff like that.
I watched some of Bart and Geo’s vlogs for a while but back when they had dogs I hated how irresponsible they were. They had a dog meatloaf that was sometimes aggressive towards other dogs and they still took him to the dog park and let him off leash. But I brushed it off then as Takia grew he was kinda becoming a spoiled brat so I stopped watching them.
I gave up on Joe a while ago I never really liked him and I’m glad Jess got away from him and can be with someone more grown up.
Yeah, taikas spoilt behaviour was too much for me too. The way he always hit Bart showed that Bart wasn't teaching respect, and that maybe geo wasn't allowing Bart to be a father, but rather a playmate.

So I was an intern as well along with Olivia and everything that Bart and Joe said were true. These two were the best boss I have ever worked with and we were truly treated like family. I came into JKnews way after Olivia left, Joe was already dating Jess. But the way they talked about Olivia was always with a bitter, shady allusion, it felt weird but since it was already 5 yrs ago atm i didn’t feel like getting into the drama.
I kept watching and I found their individual vlogs, though I really only watched Bart and Geo’s. I definitely noticed each person’s negative qualities in JKNews; sometimes they could get extra mean or overly defensive on some topics; one person always seemed to give misinformation; sometimes it’d feel like a competition for who could cause the most laughter/ruckus. But that was fine, that’s all friend groups. Idk what happened, but after a while, the articles just stopped being interesting. They became regular news titles about celebrities or debates I already see on every social media. Second, it felt off putting that Joe and Bart always tried to talk about their tough upbringing and how they experienced hoodlife too. They felt too eager to put on a Cholo facade and every person they brought in had the same “laid back gangsta” fake persona, except Josh and Julia, who were often the butt of people’s jokes too. So because of this, I watched their vlogs more.
After watching just their vlogs, it definitely felt like something was off
in the main group. I understand expanding your business and having multiple hobbies but it felt like everything was a money grab. At one point they tried getting a mtv show? And it was early on too. not trying to doubt their talents but their lives or careers were not that interesting and if they got a pilot light, it definitely would’ve been everyone faking how much fun they actually have, it would’ve been overwhelming. Then everyone kept taking vacations and moving?? Where is this money coming from but in the vlogs they also talk about hiatuses a lot? Then Bart and geo kept moving every month? Plus had a gym brand? And a kid? It would’ve been great if the rest of JK didn’t fall off, but it was obviously affecting their production and quality. Then one by one, ppl left the company or stopped talking to the main part of the group. Ik ppl grow apart but they were already in their 30s, lived in the same area, shared a company, raised some of their kids in the group, it seems odd that they quote unquote “just didn’t fit anymore”. Everyone that left has released statements that’s what happened and it’s still “love” but it doesn’t seem like the whole story. They all seem too tired to even tell the truth cause they probably know Joe and Bart are gonna lose their shit on them.

I used to watch JK when I was younger, probably from 2008-2012. I found them so funny but there were some instances where their opinions (and some mannerisms) seemed off to me.

Toxicity i definitely believe, but the money thing, so many people dont realise that joe and bart were dirt broke poor and many of their “cast” or “members” knew what they were getting into. Many of them were literally working for free, many of them were free interns. I can definitely see toxicity in many situations especially from david sometimes. But the money situation keep being brought up and ive followed them since they started. Ive fallen off and come back to the channel over the years. And we have to realise many of these “money” jabs are all during the beginning of their business like i said when they were dirt poor. Jus tryna open sum eyes but also not disagreeing with everything.
