They've had drama with many people !!! You want some chisme look up Barbell Brigade reviews and some of their old employees (Take Disgruntled) with a grain of salt particularly when they first started. As everyone changes and businesses change.
Just to be fair though you may never be able to adhere to a set ideal for how things will go or how you'll be when your coming up be it business or personal but that's on you if you feel what you feel and think what you think. HOPEFULLY this video awakens many not just for the whole JK thing but how this can happen to anyone and happens everyday everywhere.

I watched that "Don't Bully Olivia" video when it came out and it was a complete and utter farce. They had weirdly joyful music that was way too loud for background music, fake smiles painted on their faces, spoke about the situation direseively, and acted like Olivia was a kid throwing a tantrum. I think it was the beginning of the video apology era but it made me lose all my respect for them, tbh. Not to mention all of Bart and Joe's garbage takes on JK News. Some of the things they've said ... Yikes.

Honestly I think she clung to her because they were both Mexican and Geo is very independent. You could tell she wanted to be like her. I always wondered how close they were cause Tiff made it seem like they were inseparable but it looked like Geo could care less sometimes.
You're totally right about Tiff switching up but I think she was manipulated into it. Cause we got to remember she only started working with JK cause she started dating Casey and he's BEST FRIENDS with David, Joe, Bart, and Steve (just adding him because of the importance he has on Tiff's life currently being Nikki's husband but still being on JK news).
There's NO company that exists that is "like a family" that isn't harmful, abusive, and full of gaslighting and that's coming from me working at IHOP lol. I think once it happened to Tiff personally is when she saw how little accountability she was putting on them as owners, especially because she knew she was better off doing her own thing than staying on a show full of misogynistic men pretending that ignorance (like knowing nothing about women even though they all date or are married to women) and 10 year old dick jokes are still funny. Like, when they were 25 it was funny and cute but now they're all almost 40 and they just look stupid pretending that it's still comedy when they just look like old people making the same jokes for ten years. It was very clear after a while cause a lot of us don't even like watching JK anymore, it's so saturated and boring and I don't blame Tiffany for getting depressed being on the show.
I agree and diss agree with some of your statements. I still will stick with Bart and joe for what they think is right because when you have a reputation and even little money on the line they are going to do what they think is best for them and that is like any other company. It’s all business!!!
I also have only been a subscriber of there channel for like 4-5 years so I never really experienced the starting of jkn. I like how they talk about economics more now but I can see how people might not like what they talk about now because they are showing more of their immature side .

I know you probs didn't see it, but in her first video I was saying how I support the crew as people but even Bart and Joe have said multiple times through the years that JK was their first company and the fucked up a lot as bosses because they didn't know what they were doing. It's not shade on them but me just re-emphasizing what they have already said in the past. And JK used to be a lot less overtly bad man jokes when it was a comfortable space for all the girls to be on. You could literally see the transition of Tiff from the beginning to the end of her hosting JK news going from super happy to literally looking depressed being there. At first it was really fun but eventually the guys started making ignorance the main joke of the whole show (like it was definitely funny when Bart didn't know the vagina had two hole but not when the guys constantly are like "what? Women? We know nothing about them and don't want to learn even though we're all dating women") and it just got old, repetitive, and frankly annoying for most of us. I love their personal content and them talking about economics and politics as well but it doesn't really change how uncomfortable some guests and hosts have been with their behavior lately. Finally someone doing a video on the Josh situation. I've been watching jkfilms for several years and have seen both the old and new crews go on to other things the Olivia backlash happen in 2014 I've see all the videos mentioned in this one at the time they release.

Josh and Julia were the best the Josh situation was speculate during the JKparty era if you have see any of the videos were josh and Joe in any game you would see how Joe would freak the fuck out on josh usually because Josh would unintentionally cause them to lose the game this happen a lot and no one in the room ever told Joe to back off of Josh.
I and many many other viewers speculated something was wrong but the main jk crew on jk news would just act as if we were all crazy and they would mention it at the time

I knew that JKFilms was starting fall once Olivia left.
They talk about how they were so close knit and it seemed that way for awhile but I felt like the way Bart and Joe handled things like butthurt children in an adult body.
Like the "IDGAF" attitude really does stem off from Joe and Bart. They really have assertive and aggressive personalities.

Bart was building Barbell Brigade and, of course, how would be able to afford the brand, the gym and the equipment?

Remember people...it's a business. Don't ever assume because you're close with your "friends" in their business(es), that you are safe. It's a business. No matter what. Some people like Bart, Joe and Geo will take advantage of the closeness or friendship aspect to get you to do the job or go above and beyond cause "you're family". Don't ever mix the two together, family/friends is family/friends and work is work. Sure you can make friends at work, but assume the worst if they bring in the "family" or "closeness" aspect. You get paid to work. Nothing more.

Because once they were seated they pulled out a tripod and started live-streaming, and this restaurant was pretty packed. They had their kid with them too and tried to get him involved, sent a lot of red flags and decided not to approach

I used to watch JK religiously for about 5 years. I watched their personal vlogs and even some Barbell video even tho I had no clue what they were talking about. I even got my friends into them but they started bringing up stuff they said and how rude, disrespectful or plainly how incorrect the things they said were, I dumbly defended them and said its just jokes or I don't think they really meant it that way. But I was like 16. These were GROWN GROWN ass people who knew the power of what they said and the power they held over their audience. (Getting personal here tehe) I grew up with a narcisstic parent and I see a lot of the same traits in Bart and David. how if you disagree with them they will belittle you and make you second guess yourself and your intelligence. Joe is on the line for me (maybe I'm biased because he was one of my favorites on the show) but I felt as though he did have a good heart but he DEFIENTLY should have seen a therapist and had a lot of issues to work out. God I may as well put out my own video dissecting the company over the years because there is so much I could say. I think Bart, Joe and David grew a MASSIVE ginormous ego for the pedestal their fans placed them. Especially cause the majority of their fan base is Asian Americans and would act like they were a voice for the community of Asian who didn't fit the stereotype.
Now looking back at some of their actions, to think a 30 year old man were doing those things are ABSURD and beyond just being entertaining for the camera. Like when Joe and Bart would holes in the wall. I would think it was hilarious and them just being so invested in the game. Now I see they have major anger issues and I would be very concerned and uneasy if I was in the room with them. So with their past out bursts, and who knows what kinds of outbursts they had off camera or at home or gatherings, how are Olivia, Josh and Tiff supposed to feel comfortable discussing their grievances with them. Add on top its hard enough to talk about issues you have at work with a stranger so as things don't become awkward or make it difficult to work together. NOW make your boss your "bestfriend" and try to explain to them that you think your being underpaid and and taken advantage of BY THEM. That''s such a sick situation to be put in. And for the people saying its not that deep, its a business and people come and go blah blah blah. THEN TREAT THEM LIKE EMPLOYEES AND COMPENSATE THEM FAIRLY AND PAY THEM AT THE LEAST MINIMUM WAGE. From what Tiff disclosed about her payment from JKN she was being underpaid. She should at least be getting $1000+ per shooting day for home much work she puts in for just that show. She stated it would take her the whole week to find 40 articles to research, fact check and organize the information. And then participate in JKP. Not only Tiff but a lot of the other cast made the company their whole lives basically and were deep rooted in the show. Either lived with the owners/castmates, worked out at their gym, supported their side businesses or merchandise came to personal events. I wasn't there or aware of the Olivia situation, but I was for Josh, Julia and Tiff situation. They made jokes about how soft spoken all of them were and tried to taunt them into sticking up for themselves, when in reality all they had to do was respect the type of people they were and not force them to be extroverted as they were. They should have met them where they were at. They knew their personalities before making them cast members. If they wouldn't be a good fit in front the camera put them behind it. I could always tell how uncomfortable Julia was because you could tell she felt she needed to be more outspoken. It didn't help weird ass fans or people passively watching would call her boring.
Alright alright I'm almost done if you read this far lmao thank you. But I do remember episodes on JKN where it was mentioned how the fanbase would bully Tiff or Julia and call them boring or how they didn't want them on the show (for JKP too) and honestly they were singled out a lot and Joe and Bart, as owners and as their bosses, should have defended them wayyyyy more. Like I said their core fanbase kiss Bart and Joe's ass and would listen to THEM. They bred a really misogynistic and toxic fanbase. The girls always got way more hate on the show for their opinions or behavior. And anytime one of the girls, besides Geo, tried to defend themselves or their opinion they wouldn't be taken seriously or brushed off. The reason this is "taken so serious" is because of their influence. They don't have a big following and it sure as hell wont grow anymore, but they still get some attention and they need to be held responsible for ethics and what they are preaching to what remains of their fandom.
Really did love them ALL as a group before and really wanted to see each one do great but it really does seem like Bart and Joe gave the employees the shortest stick. The employees were the whole backbone and what kept all the shows going. I think after Julia left is when I felt their last channel was over and honestly it was. Although it is Karma, its honestly so shocking to see how they did Tiff. Honestly never saw that coming and the owners not being around for her Baby; in so so many videos she talked about how much she loved babies and wanted one. And to think Isaac was like their lil nephew and his youth was largely attached JK, for them to do his mom like that? WIlddddddddddddd they better private all the videos with him in it
The video ending had me laughing my ass off jk as company already is a shell of its former self 99% of all the fan favorite except for hooker slaying Michael and a couple from the newer crew. However jk as company isn't what made them money. its the side investments that they put in on places like shrimp daddy and Matcha tea

i used to adore JK and i actually sided with them during this issue with Olivia (but I’m definitely Team Olivia now). Unfortunately, it wasn’t until Josh left that I realized they weren’t great people, and looking back, they did a lot of shady stuff. So much makes sense now. I don’t think they’re evil people, but they really need to humble themselves and own up to their shit.

What a fking good series, I told people they were shady but everyone looked past it. They haven't changed all these years.
The "owners" are so in denial of the whole toxic situation. They call them "family" yet one by one they're disappearing. And they blame those who left. Isn't it obvious the "owners" are the problem? If they're your so called family, then why are they disappearing? And I noticed too, not just the people in the studio but in their other companies like their Barbell Gym. There's always a new staff. They call them family at first but the next couple of vids theyre gone and they have new gym management members. Theyre the toxic ones. Theyre manipulative and won't admit theyre the ones in the wrong or the ones with problems.

I agree. I’m a recent fan of about a year. So I didn’t even know any other drama prior to what I’ve been watching. The issue with Tiff leaving was enough for me to not really watching their channel much at all. Also the dynamic and vibe is kinda dead now (jknews). It’s just not the same prior to Tiff leaving and the fact there’s an all male cast now is meh. I guess they’re rebranding..

I became a fan of jkf back when they were just a couple of friends making wacky videos in their apartment. I stopped watching when they became stagnant with repetitive jkn and jkp vids. Then they became overly defensive and hostile anytime fans would ask their WIP film. Then they revealed side projects like their gym and called us "haters" for asking about the film. Like bruh, at least be honest with your fans.
You definitely hit the nail on the head with Olivia being an OG and a huge part in making jkf successful, successful enough to afford renting commercial property, in expensive af LA. Even as a high schooler I could tell something wasn't right back then. At the time, only Bart, Joe, and Casey were actual empolyees. Surely they can afford a 4th employee if they could afford to rent commerical property in LA. They even admitted to not paying her nor any of their other interns. IMO, she definitely should've gotten the position that was later created for Geo. She was already doing the work.
Last thing I remember was Julia coming aboard and suddenly getting more screen time than the more senior interns. I thought it was weird af how almost everyone in front of the camera are/were dating each other. In retrospect, it's so obvious how exploitative they are.
I think 2017 was when I started seeing JKNews here and there. I lost interest and always had a odd feeling. Thinking it was me going through my own stuff. But as time went on and I check in here and there. I see or hear more drama.
How they talk about past members than also reading comments. It adds up.
Last time I updated Nikki quit and Julia also left too.
Thank you for these videos to fill in the blanks. I just found out about Tiff a year later. And Julia is back. Julia a fan favourite which I think they are grasping for a longer ride in the train.

Julia was the lucky one she left before she ended up like tiff, it wouldve happened to her eventually. she maintained some friendship with them. Nikki came back to jk news, because she and steve are gamblers im guessing they needed money now. Daniels was another lucky one, he left to become a radiologist, and jk tried to CO-OPT his success like they had part in daniels journey.
Jk news, joe and bart just was good at hiding thier shady past, they never grew past it.
I used to watch them but as I grew I kinda felt that Geo was just mean towards Julia for no reason. also felt weird that they always wanted to know all the hosts struggles as if they were looking for a weakness. people that talk about their struggles constantly or try to have other people constantly talk about their problems rubs me the wrong way.

To me, I don’t get the whole point of exchanging so many words and messages amongst each other. It all comes down to whether someone’s ego is easily hurt for one to go about messaging and trying to seek validation for being right. If it was me, I wouldn’t even bother wasting a breath, second, or a choreograph message to go about exchanging words to a company. If I were to be working for their company and had gotten fired, I’d just keep to myself because I’m not going to go about wasting anymore time on a company in which I wasn’t paid at. The easiest thing for JK to do was not acknowledge it even though they were easily offended which is shown through the vast messages. Whether they had a opinion or not, it wouldn’t have mattered as they are already a fairly decent company. What’s a loss of a couple thousand viewers to them? Voicing their opinion didn’t get them any new viewers so what was the point? Also the whole Jk is going to die out in a couple years and the co owners see it. This is why they’re venturing to making investments and forming different businesses.
This is probably why Bart & Geo can afford a million dollar home because they DON’T PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES 😂😂

my only question about this part is, if her sister is a lawyer, and if they indeed did all that illegal shit, why would they not sue? it just makes no sense to me. so imo, i think both sides share some blame, jk most likely did use unpaid interns to get their business started up, i wouldnt be surprised at all about that. whether or not thats illegal, i could care less. the interns should know what they getting themselves into before they start, or stop working as soon as they find out they werent getting paid. if u say, oh they promised to pay me after 6 months, 1 year, or whatever it is, get that shit in writing. she claims she has all the evidence to show public, well show it to court, sue their ass. ur sisters a lawyer, u dont even gotta pay for lawyer fees, so whats stopping u??? for sure theres something on her side as well that shes not telling us, which is stopping her for filing a lawsuit, i dont know what it is, all i know is, neither side is completely innocent here.

JK has been around for a long time they are changing like they should. JkFilms and JkParty ended, they have been around for a long time and things are changing so they decided to end it. They have to start letting people go even if they're friends. They only have JkNews left, it only requires 6 talkers, 1 or 2 editors, and a research team. Only having 1 line left they can't support to have everyone around and barely have anything for them to do. Like if a business owner owned 2 business. 1 a restaurant 2 a clothing store. If the restaurant closes why would the owner keep the waiter/waitresses and chefs around to work at a the clothing store when the clothing store is already full on staff. No the way they promoted the company as a FAMILY when really they were cutting their FAMILY short and using them is why there's all this discussion and backlash. And its bigger then JK. Its showing that companies that are claim they are "Like a family" and are all super close is just a façade and a way to manipulate their employees into being over worked and under payed. Bart, Joe and Geo did have outside businesses outside of JK but the wealth gap between them and the crew always confused me. If their your family you should OVERPAY them not UNDERPAY. Tiff said she would make $900 for hosting JKN and $600 when she would guest and they would film the WHOLE day from like 9 am -12/1 am at times if you watched their vlog. Tiff deserved wayyyyyyyy more than that for collecting, researching, organizing AND presenting the articles to keep the show running for years. AND JULIA AND TIFF WERE THE ONES BRINGING GUESTS ON AND SCHEDULING THEM. Jesus Christ they did so much.
