Another great video here Bob, that porter looks great, glad you enjoyed that. Indeed small engines make a huge difference to your layout no matter what it is👍
Thanks for another great video, Bob. You never run out of interesting items in your collection to show your fans. I really liked seeing the Porter and the trolley, two of my favourite things about this hobby: steam and traction! Thanks, Bob.
Thank you for watching Tom. Lots of great things coming. How to make coal loads, more Menards, a visit to Virginia to see 614, riding the 2102, New Hope and Black River. Plus tons of layout stuff. Going to be a great summer.
Thank you for watching. yes the Johnstown trolley is very special (my hometown) and $109 for that Porter engine was a great deal. It traveled from Hawaii to New Jersey to get here. Thanks for watching..
i agree. thanks for watching. i agree Dave I really like that trolley it was made by Walt Cameron around 17 years ago. It still runs fantastic and is a great piece..
Thank Hunter, I recently got a woodside boxcar for it and looking for a bobber caboose. It is conventional but it is a great engine. It actually came all the way from Hawaii.
Thank you for watching George. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Pennsy engine is an 0-6-0 B-028. The first time I saw it was the prototype while In Andy Edelman's office. I asked if he could get one for me. I've enjoyed it ever since.
Thank you; I Love it. Years ago when I was visiting MTH and in Andy Edelman's office he had the prototype. It looked so fantastic I had to get it. She pulls well and is a beauty
Thank you for watching Mike. Awhile back I did a video on my N Gauge collection; check it out. Its all older mostly Minitrix, but still works great after all these years.
The 0-4-0 Porter locos were smaller and were generally used on logging roads but mostly in the coal fields. It had a water jacket tank for extra water and if you notice it has no tender. Whatever coal it used was taken off if the first car behind the loco during its duties. They were great for running on questionable track.
Yes Indeed. A good friend knew I was looking for one. This one came all the way from Hawaii. Im glad I got it, this little engine is all diecast and heavy, smokes great and pulls a pretty good train for its size. Thanks for watching..

I like the odd engines that you wouldn't find on everyone's layout.

Whatever coal it used was taken off if the first car behind the loco during its duties. They were great for running on questionable track.
Thank you Richard, I didnt know that. But really glad I picked this engine up. Thank you for checking it out.
That trolley is close to the colors of our local Line tri city traction co, if I find one, I letter it tri city , that would be neat .
