Yes the bus driver did have most balls than most. He didn't let this evil raging menace bully him. He remained calm, activated the alarm and carried on, while the vile thug with an overinflated sense of his own ego had a tantrum, tried to assault him, destroy property, and disrupt a public service..

I've been doing deliveries for 5 weeks and I'm already sick of scum bags, piss heads and other motorists giving me shit/putting me in danger so I get it. My tolerance with these people is becoming short so I understand his outbursts. Yeah he may have over reacted a couple times but he put himself out there to do some real good for others.

in what way? if you cbf explaining then dw, just curious lol

    • @Matt-vo1ge
      @Matt-vo1ge 2 роки тому +55

      @@bossman1744 no problem:
The part of your brain responsible for Fear, Anxiety and Aggression is in the middle of the brain and is constantly on the lookout for threats.
If it finds a threat (in this case the bus driver pulling out and then trapping him in the bus) then it checks with the front of the brain first (which is the part of the brain that says "hold on, this isn't really that big an issue, chill/wouldn't be wise to act/could get arrested, etc."). The front of the brain stops you from "acting out" what the threat system has detected and decided you should do.
With PTSD the threat system can double in the amount of influence it has and it can bypass the check with the calmer front part of the brain.
Children are quick to anger/rage/act- out, but as they grow older the front gains more control. PTSD can take a shit on all this leaving the individual shooting first and asking questions later.
This makes sense because PTSD develops in threatening environments - think of soldiers in war, the time it takes to check with the front of the brain (think it over) could leave you dead. So over time the threat detection system takes over.
If he's been living with threats on his life and regular altercations he could well have an over-active threat system. Good news is that it can be corrected with therapy.

Omar's contribution was massive. Him and biker biker helped me previously retrieve my stolen bike and I can truly say they're not there for the money. Omar made a fair share of money from YT, but for the work he did he deserves a throne... Currently, I'm 1 month apart from my newly stolen bike which biker biker are trying to help locate but it looks like it won't come back to me ever again... Which is a shame as now more than ever I need omar on the roads again... (this was the 2st big bike I could afford and I put my heart and soul into it, and being disabled with no income meant it was both my second pair of legs, and my only way to get out of my neighbourhood and join friends in rodeouts and socialise etc... At this point tho, no bike means no going anywhere, so no social life, no ability to purchase a new bike for at least a couple years, and a completely ruined summer... Omar we need you.)

You put a regular person into a position of confrontation on a daily basis and something will end up giving.
It starts from just doing the right thing and it eventually ends up becoming you being part or equal to the problem.
This is why we have to put respect on the name of police. They are regular bods with a bit training and a support network of more experienced officers. Regular training, systems and networks in place to prevent officers finding themselves in the same situations. It’s not perfect but we need to support them and all services in general. Someone is gaining from cuts and defunding police, NHS, Ambulance services and fire services. It’s not us.

I'm so glad that "thepedlad" gave me a heads up in advance, the bus rant I'm guessing was mental health and extremely difficult to watch. Great job fella on providing both sides of the argument.... Look forward to seeing your content again very soon and 100% respect to thepedlad for being gracious. 😁😁👍👌

I've lost it once (in a not remotely similar situation) due to some other stuff that was going on on my life that was totally unrelated, just happened to boil over in a fairly innocuous interaction with someone.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is we can all flip out and start yelling when we're under long term stress.
I still cringe when I think about it, but I'm not about to judge anyone else. You never know what people have eating away at them.

Problem is, when tempers are frayed, on a bike you’re at a massive disadvantage against someone sitting in a car. They can hit the brakes (as we saw) and bikes don’t stop as well as cars do. They can cut across you, even knock you off/knock the bike over, and they can shunt you from behind. If it gets physical through the window, you’re trying to fight with one hand while balancing a couple of hundred kilos of metal between your feet. If the driver jumps out to take you on, you have to put the side stand down and dismount while he’s probably already attacking you. Bikers invariably have more reason to get angry, as they are more at risk from crazy drivers, but before reacting, take a deep breath and think it through. You need to be prepared for this eventuality, and for that you’ll need a small bottle of corrosive (non-silicone based) brake fluid somewhere where you can easily reach it. Keep a healthy distance behind the car, let him think you’re just letting it go. Wait until he’s stuck behind a line of traffic that you can easily filter past, stop behind him, take the bottle, remove and discard the cap. When you’re alongside the car, and he doesn’t have space to swerve across you before you’re gone… dribble the fluid down the driver’s door and wing as you pass by, immediately drop the bottle, making sure it doesn’t splash your bike in the process, and quickly filter ahead through the traffic and ride away. But only do this if you can control your adrenalin and stay super cool throughout, because some people are likely to panic and if you screw up your exit strategy the whole thing can backfire.

Yeah balls of steel, traumatised him though, the extreme rages in his later videos are classic PTSD, the bus driver totally baited him and was equally guilty of escalating a minor incident into the realms of the psychotic same with the Turkish Range Rover who deliberately rammed him up the arse

Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. Omar was the same. He was a victim of his own success and I’m sure if he could change one thing, it would be to keep his face hidden. Once his identity was known there was no going back and life is never the same. You then just wish to have a normal life back and that’s what he is trying to enjoy right now. Great video and Omar is definitely a YT legend who made a good impact. He went after the scumbag long before the met police started their operation Venice.

The part about how can one man have so much bad luck, as someone who’s only ever visited london 3 times, I’ve had an encounter every time, wether it was drunk people or crackheads, only once was I approached and asked how much money I had on me for the guy to walk away, was a rather pathetic attempt at a robbery maybe ? But london isn’t short of bad guys and weirdos..
