i had 2 attempted thefts of my bike 6 days apart both ties failed, 2nd time all the alarms went off n scared them, feel free to use the videos
If Someone tried to pinch my bike I'm going to jail for murder plain and simple....
me too man, if I catch them in the midst of it I'm breaking every law needed to prevent it
I've had 3 out of the 5 I've owned over the years stolen and I'd happily be your cell mate.
@Olly O seems like most of the time all it takes is a good scare, but you know how these chavs are strength in numbers, if they wanted to they could fight and I'd sure as hell let them try, good strategy for the walls I like that!
That’s stupid
Do people not realise EVERY insurance policy states you must use factory fitted security devices at all times along with any declared additional security failure to do so will resort it a 0% payout and you fixed paying the rest of your bills yourself whilst having no bike. Surely people ain't this stupid.
Oh yes they are. 😧
Some foam sheets, glue and fake leaves. Make a leaf box that fits over bike, looks like a bush.
its amazing how many people dont lock their motorbikes, especially with crime on the rise in the uk
Oh yeah. When I had one, where I used to park in the city centre, if there were 5 other bikes there 4 or even all 5 would be sitting there unlocked. As I put my padlock and chain on I used to think 'I wonder which one the next thief will go for?'
My Dad just had his Benelli TRK502X taken from our driveway 5 days ago. This country has gone to shit and i cant wait to leave.
I had an attempted theft yesterday. they couldn't brake the lock so they broke open my top box and stole my helmet. the lock I used was a LITE LOK X1 defiantly worth 150 pound.
Lite Lok x3 is even better.

then getting your bike stolen
You should be able to get disc locks that explode taking off your hands if they are compromised with a grinder.
You should 100% be allowed to booby trap your bike.
or like the dye packs in a ATM, just splode all that blue stuff all over them, they will never get it off
An extra tip be careful of what you post of your bike on social media don't tag yourself at locations! Especially if you've got multiple bikes👌
Some people just don't think.. like .. going on holiday tomorrow ,, ohh so your house is empty then? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ 🔔ends

U don’t have to win the chase… u just gotta go faster than the slowest!
I moved to Leeds 6 months ago and no longer had a garage. Had to park it up and stupidly, I only used a cover and disc lock and it got stolen a month in. Police found it abandoned and I was able to fix it and ride it again, this time found a nice anchor point in the ground, made sure to chain it to this steel girder in the ground for trailers and covered with an alarm disc lock. Thieves still tried to steal my bike on 3 seperate occasions, 3 days back-to-back, pushing it over, damaging the tank, oil everywhere and even cut my ignition wires which I had to solder back. Luckily still there though. Only till now I asked my landlord to use his garage and it's been okay. I still cover and chain it so it's hard to move inside the garage. They're persistent bastards!!! Only a garage, out of complete sight will be your best bet, and even then, they can stake out areas and see you putting the bike in, so be careful who you let see you, parking it in the garage.
Great video, I recently got myself a monimoto tracker but this has inspired me to install a decoy gps tracker of some sort plus 2x LITE LOK X1
I just dont understand why anyone would ever want to live in London full stop.
engine idling has long been a problem in the UK. for some strange reason, people will leave their engine running for 20, 30 minutes at a time when sitting behind a wheel. it makes no sense.
anyway, the reason why i say this is because over the past few months, i have been seeing more and more strange behaviour from drivers. people are actually leaving their cars with the engines running while they call into shops. it is completely bizarre and i don't understand why this is happening now. it's simple people- if your car is parked, remove the key from the ignition, then your car is less likely to be stolen.
Where’s The Hand Muff Warrior when you need him, that man was a hero
Stress got to his head and he flipped out on a bus driver it wasn’t on so he rightfully stepped down it’s unfortunate but it’s inexcusable
@@humate9980 he got arrested not stepped down I’m pretty sure. I doubt he’s gonna come back though because of the hate
I haven’t seen one of your videos for a while.
I remember the 390 ktm, then the big upgrade to the r1 with the little kid revving the throttle and Now a gs. Good on you for you upgrades.
Time flys.
I leave a air tag under my seat but the real tracker is a SIM based GPS tracker hidden in the air box.
thats my hiding place for mine :D
I don't have an alarm on my sv1000s but I made a couple ground anchors at work and concreted them in to my garden its done the trick so far
Makes my blood boil watching thieving scumbags getting away. Apart from the fact it is a mare getting my ktm out of my back yard (narrow gate and wide bars) i have an alarmed disc lock, a pragmasis titan 22mm short link chain and a datatool stealth s5 tracker protecting it. To be added in the next month or so is a litelock X3 and i am putting a ground anchor in for the chain. As a last resort if i caught scum trying to steal it then i got a 2 and a half foot iron jemmy bar.
Just a note - a wall anchor is better than a ground anchor, as grounding the chain or getting it tight makes cutting it easier not harder. I have the same chain though and actually do carry it into London when I work (yes, annoying, but I’ll be damned if I let my bike get stolen).
I used a second chain, alarmed disc to be added, and a Moni tracker. Stay safe out there folks!
@@aps-pictures9335 I am also considering an anti pinch pin too
Be wise mate, you're carrying that jemmy bar for maintenance 👮♂️👀
@@jh9667 of course i am. Its in case i have a puncture and have to take my tyre off, it makes the job easier.
If only guns were allowed in this country, the crime rate would drop because people take no sh!t. Police don’t do a single thing not only that it’s full of 22 stone men or 4’9 women that can’t even do a single pull-up
agreed, firearms for us UK lads would be so so useful BUT you could imagine how all of these chavvy thieves would use them to a pretty vile extent, the way I see it is, if you need to defend your bike or yourself, use a weapon, if it's illegal in the uk I don't give a shit I'm gonna do anything I need to to prevent shit like this happening, people need to step up and say fuck the law
You realise that thieves would get guns as well and they would be more eager to use them, right?
Yh that's what I was saying lad
@@axolotl2494
The thieves would have guns? They have knives, bats, machetes. We have fists. Do me a favour, point out which video would not have been prevented if this were to take place in a US red state like Texas. Each of these would have got filled with 20 holes each. If not by the property owner, then by his neighbour. Thieves rely on two things and two things only..
1- A Lack of Consequence
2- An unarmed victim.
Hence why these crimes only ever happen in lawless countries were citizens are unarmed. Bike thieving has never been a problem with Texas and Saudi Arabia, and it never will.
Nah bike thieves with guns is way worse than knives and bats
Also the rotor locks seem like the best options...gps incase alarm and lock failed...❤❤❤
I hid a toggle switch to kill the battery. If it's off, bike wont start.
I also use thick alarmed padlocks on the disc brake rotors when parked for long periods.
I had a PCX 125 which I usually put inside my garden but one night I got lazy due to work and was tired, so silly me I was new to bikes as a whole and didn't understand much about them and just covered it up put steering lock. Next morning it was gone. 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂. They stole it at 2:48am (I know this because I woke up to a motion alert notification from the tracker which was sent to my phone at 2:48am)
Edit: I now have a CB125F which I keep in my back garden and wrap a thick chain around the front tyre. I did purchase an anchor to attach and anchor the bike with the chain to which I will be installing too.
The only locks now worth fitting are those that resist angle grinder attacks. Litelok X1 & x3 or Hiplok d1000.
Pointless fitting anything else as they can cut them off easily.
Almax 19mm or 22mm chain with squire strong hold lock I’d recommend
A mate had his bike stolen from a locked roller shutter door garage , the police didn't help at all , he got his bike back himself with the help of social media, one time when the police did arrive on his doorstep early one morning! Reason for the call an orange plastic water pistol had been spotted on the rear parcel shelf in his sons car !
It’s horrific the bike crime in London I’ve stuck a tracker on mine now keep yourself a good base ball bat by the front door
Make sure you also keep a baseball and baseball glove too, because plod will assume the bat by itself is kept as an illegal offensive weapon but if you just happen to enjoy a spot of baseball as a sport and can prove so because you have the whole kit, no further questions will be asked about the bat. ;)
@Fenrir yeah I no I was stopped by the police taking my son to to the park for base ball practice so thankfully I had the glove and ball aswell well noticed tho
i have 2 ground anchors one for front wheel and bike frame and other for rear wheel along with datatool evo alarm and biketrac tracker then fitted a dummy tracker next to the battery . for chains and locks i use protector 19mm chains with roundlocks
I would put a explosive device as security they can't steal if they ain't got any fingers.
Even if I pop into a shop, second nature is to active the steering lock.
I never thought of the 'Two trackers. One hidden and one obvious' idea. Clever! Lull them into a false sense of security.
Locking your bike wouldn’t do nothing tbh if they want your bike they will take it😂😂😂😂
Must have not watched the video I take it
@@gromhub I did watch it and that was one bike out of many 😂😂you mupprt

@@gregtaylor6146 exactly mate. If you are found here tonight, you will be found here in the morning.
With that first one they could've easily blocked it in with the car, just by parking the car at an angle.
Exactly what I do.
Because we have insurance 👍🏻 and if you leave steering lock off they won’t break it mate 👍🏻
And then the insurance company finds out you didn't secure it properly and you get f all pay out. Not smart
So your bike gets stolen, insurance pays out, have you even thought what comes next? Your premiums go up big time, and the thieves will come back snooping for the next easy picking, your replacement bike. Then that gets nicked as well and good luck affording or even getting insurance after that. You also lose your excess each time you claim for total loss.
@@fenrir7969 i’ve had a bike stolen years ago I just changed insurance companies 🙄
@@TimmmmmyD The idea is if they find the bike you can use it again because the steering lock is not broke but if it doesn’t turn up no one will ever know will they mate 🙄
Fuck a legal point of view, 4 guys just tried to steal his property with a deadly weapon!
All criminals must rot in jail.
That tooth pick holding door would defo have a shock if a real man opened it lol. Boiling hot water out the window would be a great idea they look like they needed a wash
You seen how fast they work? Good luck running downstairs to your kitchen, filling a kettle, waiting for it to boil, running back upstairs to open a window, they'll be long gone.
Bro that last clip where the owner is shouting out the window, if this was my bike and my house everyone is getting stabbed with no regard for life
Its disgusting and scary how brazen they are.
Ive not had my bike stolen ot attempted to be stolen yet when im at work its in view of people inside and at home its bolted to the wall hidden away lol
You might want to cover your Speedo if you’re going to hammer it round Richmond park for most of the video 😉
how are they dealing with the steering lock so easily ? its like its not even there
Might as well not be there bike security is poor as everyone knows
09:20 it wasn't a hammer, bro. He was frying some eggs when he was disturbed, it's just a spatula.
Are the apple and Samsung tag things any good for using as a tracker?
No. They notify ppl if they are around them for too long.

Oh I didn't know England as such problem with bike stealing. But why is that so?
Looks like you’re riding through Richmond park 😅
Well hanging and cutting limbs was very effective to persuade not to steal, 30 slashes as well
What if you lube your brakes when you store your bike, and maybe it should teach the bike thief to stop theiving especially if they have gone for a ride.
This didn’t shock me as I am aware of the names of the lads and I know where it is as it’s local to me. Also the fact I’ve seen the video 1000x😂
Are there know instances when the owner would catch and either severely beat or kill the thiefs?
This isn't America, we Brits don't have many rights left. Sadly, the right to defend your own property is not something we have anymore and any attempt to do so would get you into more trouble than the bike thieves. I'm surprised this country hasn't collapsed on itself yet considering the state we're in.

can you try for a handgun in UK? I mean if you would put a reason that you are a bike owner in the most thief infested city they could possibly allow you to have a real weapon
no you cannot, firearms are completely illegal to have in the uk, you can have a shotgun licence BUTTT you need actual reasons for obtaining it like hunting or clay pigeon shooting, you can't get anything for self defence (not sure how you don't know about uk firearms laws we are in 2023 I thought everyone makes fun of us for not having them) A LOT of self defence stuff is illegal but if it came down to some little chavs stealing my hard earned bike, lord I'm breaking every law I need to to prevent that from happening
You'd be surprised how many firearms are legal in the UK. I only shoot target rifle, but see plenty of people in the civilian service rifle (Assault rifles - albeit straight-pull operated), historic service rifle (Lee enfields, K98s etc) and gallery rifle disciplines (Semi-auto .22s mostly).
Unfortunatley the UK doesn't allow self defence. But best belive I'm running out with a machete if they try
@@SamK-vk7kb Easier to get an illegal gun than a licensed one
@@SamK-vk7kb People generally say that firearms are banned but there are some ways, some types that you can get, ofc its extremely tough in european countries, the laws are crazy

Meanwhile in places like Japan 🇯🇵 there’s little problem for things like this..
Very true !
Odd I can’t quite put my finger on why
@@reboot5598 A late answer after a year, but I hope it helps:
In japan space is a luxury. So much that to have a vehicle you must first prove you have storage space for it. Just brwose google map a bit and you will see how narrow roads are, and houses with own garage /off street parking is rare too. Parking is limited and expensive. Goverment there promote public transport. So vehicle registration this perspective is much more serious.
If a vehicle is stolen / seen with false or ripped off plates actions taken much quicker too.
And jails are much harsher there too. You really don't want to sit in prison over a few grand worth of bike that you could buy from a few months worth of saving anyway...
Here in the UK whats the chance they will be even caught?
Police usually victimblames:
- why didn't you used better locks?
- why do you even have a bike?
- just pay theft insurance, problem?
etc
But even if thieves are caught the sentence is something what "can be sit down at the toilet with ease"
The highest risks for these rats if the owner gets fed up and hurt them, but in that case they get the upper hand and law will even protect them.
If we would make a flowchart with possible outcomes the result would make most people cry...
