Greetings to happy Jack ❤ 🐶 I know he is no longer physically present and I am confident that your beautiful Patsy will certainly be a happy wee dog at Bealtaine cottage ❤🐶 Thank you for all your lovely videos. You are a wonderful inspiration 🤎💚💙💛🤍
I too am quite independent. I was born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and still live here. Your videos soothe my soul. I've had some stress lately and being in my yard and watching you walk in your forest garden is so very helpful. My stress is lifting and I can see a cheerful horizon. Jack's playful smile is delightful. We had crows nest in our big red leaf maple this year. One fledged and didn't make it after a number of days. So sad. The second one did and we can hear it and the parents in the distance. We've had many more birds nesting and raising young in our yard this year. Robins, Crows, Stellars Jays, Juncos. It's delightful. Blessing to you Colette and Jack
Greetings from the Cascade Mountains in Oregon, USA. Cherishing your privacy and independence is not strange at all. I feel the very same way about my home and its bit of ground. I truly enjoy doing for myself, and the contentment of knowing that I can.
I'm glad I stopped by to take a look at your beautiful garden realm, Mother Nature is helping you along the way; she's paying you back for rescuing this peaceful place...please continue.
There was a candlelight vigil tonight for a friend of mine who committed suicide earlier this week. She was a gentle soul in a tough body who's bark was louder than her bite. She loved animals dearly and I was always so happy to see her Instagram pictures of dogs, chickens, and other rescued animals. It was nice to come home and watch this video Colette. Seeing Jack, hearing your voice and walking through Bealtaine is a magical elixir for the soul. Bless you friend.
These videos do bring so much peace and calm in this weird and wacky world we live in. So grafeful to you for taking the time to make them. I look forward as do others to bealtane cottage everyday. I love the stone circle and feel the serenity it exudes, divine. xx thankyou
So beautiful and peaceful I could sit and listen to that stream forever my goodness, what a beautiful place,if I where a fairy I certainly would live there Thank you Colette for sharing your beautiful home with us😀👍❤
I’m so happy for you, it’s beautiful and so relaxing. I’d love to be a tree growing in your garden. There’s so much love there. ❤️you’ve put together an amazingly, lovingly and fantastic acreage.
We have done the same as you. Our cottage was built in the woods four years ago.The minimum was cleared for the house. Every view from every window is woodland, but I would like to take your lead in putting back more secret garden paths. The side yard has been opened just enough for some raised beds and a small green house. I hope to clear out under our canopy of heavy woods. The bottom branches are dead. Good for kitchen wood stove starting. Then I can walk under the evergreen Hemlocks.
Thank you so much dear Goddess Bless your Heart today and all days! I am so inspired by you , I've planted some sort of seed everyday , in the backyard, since I started watching, mostly simple things ,vegetables, radish and carrot and lettuce, green beans and sweet peas. thank you thank you thank you!
I'd Love to lay in the Center, in the Path, Close my Eyes, Breathe it in & Listen to the Surroundings, Be/Feel like a part of it. Even for 1/2 of an hour & it would be worth it. As a 9 yr old I used to use both hands to scoop up Oats, shimmy under the fence & feed my Grandfathers Horses, yet when the mean 1 would come, all the others would close ranks to keep him away from me & if they were lose when I'd walk down to the lake/pond, there would always be 1 on either side of me to walk me down if he was anywhere near. Always Loved Planting, being in a Tree, the Woods, Fields & around Animals. Your place Looks/Feels perfect! Thank You for Sharing!!!!
Another beautiful and Magickal video. Thank you for explaining how Jack handles the road and the cars. My heart skips a beat when I see him near the road, but I should have figured out already that he has a very protective mom who makes sure he is safe. Blessings dear Colette.
I was thrilled when I started the latest Bealtaine Cottage video and saw that it's 30 minutes long. Good Evening & blessings to you, Colette. It's 10 in the morning here in Alaska and a beautiful grey day. Mushrooms are out here, too.
Love seeing your mushrooms...I have many fond memories of mushroom gathering with my Dad, here in wet Western Washington State. Also love seeing the parts of your garden we don't get to see as often. Thank you for all you do!
Isn't nature clever giving you food you haven't planted hence the Mushrooms . Just love the fairy house . Wow just seen one of the standing stone's as you can gather I'm on catch up Blessings to you Colette and Jack xx
Listening to you gives me peace and hope. Thank you for sharing the beautiful magic of your cottage and land. I have recently found you and so very glad. Sending you best wishes for health and prosperity in all that you are doing and have done to achieve your precious dreams. So much gratitude from Sutherland, Virginia! 🍁🪶🎃🧚🏼♀️🎃🪶🍁
Oh if only there weren't an ocean in the way. ha. I'd be your guy! I'm a no-power-tools guy, too. You mentioned that in a vid before. Thanks for the stroll, Colette! Dave
But a much better reality cottage in the middle of a very beautiful and wide Roscommon County. Have to google map it further some more...so excited to reach and hover above the cottage.....eehemmm...this what talking birds love to do...hover and discover;-):-) thanks Colette:-)
I would always imagine somehow that the magical and mythical lands of the Shire is nearby...where the Fairies, Elves, and Hobbits live before they went to adventure...O:)
I agree about crows and ravens being highly intelligent birds. I've read a fascinating book called "Gifts of the Crow" by John Marzluff and Tony Angell. More than just describing anatomy, they tell real-life stories of how crows and ravens exhibit many human-like traits and abilities like planning, distinguishing faces, innovation and learning. It just added to my appreciation of nature. During the cool hours of morning I love to look out my window and I'll just watch the squirrels and birds in the trees or perched on the the wooden fence. -Rhonda
Don’t think of help as “charity” try thinking about it as giving a gift to the person helping. They get to spend hours with a wonderful person, sharing the joy of doing something they love, in a way that gives back to both of you. The helper often receives more than the helped. At least that has been my experience when I have helped. Personally I love pruning, though I can’t do much of it anymore. And after all, who wouldn’t love cutting things back in such glorious surroundings! BTW The lovely winter red twigged dogwood bush might be Cornus Sericea. While I was looking I also found a yellow twigged version: Cornus Sericea 'Flaviramea'. Now I want both!! I think “that little ditch” is a “rill”, a word I have always loved. You can almost hear the sound of the water running through it. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rill
Hello! Thank you for sharing your cottage and woods! I thought… have you considered a high school or college person? Perhaps the school or college would allow for credit in some type of horticulture class? Just a thought, maybe it could help in multiple ways! 💜
I pretty much believe i'm now nearer having reached by google earth Drumcunny Lake, and some Malone Construction...Ballyformoyle is a thickly wooded expanse further upper left on the map....im getting closer Such a beautiful magical county it is....vast open spaces lakes and a long river winds further up north.....i can wander in this land forever....:-)
HUE-gah - Danish for snuggly, cosy, hunkering down for Winter. Enjoying being at home. Cooking for friends and family, entertaining in a relaxed manner. Sitting in front of a fire reading a book. Wearing jumpers and comfortable clothing. Generally chilling out and taking things gently. Lots of candles and soft furnishings. Being out in nature. No wonder the Danes are rated the happiest people.

At 20:09 to 20:16 on the left side of the path there is a small arch made of vegetation. Short for humans, it's perfect for fairies.

Ah it’s a lovely garden, and I see you have well established and naturalized currants or gooseberries.
Magical.
Winter must be a nice break for you when you dont have as much to do outdoors
Magical
Shaggy manes is what we call them in BC, Canada. They are delicious! Do you get morals? They like burned out areas the best! ♥️
An apprentice would be beneficial for both of you.
when the shaggy ink caps, deteriorate, they produce, a black ink like liquid, and this, has been used, as ink, hence the name
I'd be more then willing to help you in anyway at all Colette. Any of the heavy stuff.
The moss that looks like little ferns! It doesn't grow where I live. :(

Sadly not woodland but monoculture plantation.
Ohh..didn't mean your cottage Colette:-), but is the whole of Ballyformoyle a permaculture plantation...quite impressive work if so...
^Monoculture^... i stand corrected...
You really know how to hygge!
Fe Bee I forgot, how is that pronounced?

Have you ever done a live hangout?
No...
Quite right to... an air of mystery pervades you...!
Colette, would you ever do the Joe Rogan podcast to get your idea out to millions of young people?
I believe that those who need to find Bealtaine Cottage, will.
Since spending time with my son over the recent Yule, i have discovered he is a Joe Rogan fan, so I would now say a definite yes...
i get it 🙂💜💜💜
yes, hire a resourceful woman
Don't you have snakes in your land,I am from India
It's Ireland, no snakes.
Oh ok,thanks
