Very nice, Sylvania incandescent flame shape medium base light bulb! It looks like a well built bulb. It is coated nice and evenly and it looks awesome when lit. Plus the bulb dims beautifully and the clear tip on top makes a nice finish. Thanks again for sharing these neat videos of your cool light bulbs and fixtures. You are the best!
Hey James, I once again really really appreciate you making these videos, I love seeing different bulbs being tested and used kind of like tech reviews but way better. I have to say, although I have commented that LEDs are better and more energy efficient, and I realize that it is true, however not all LED bulbs will dim like the incandescent or halogen bulbs will, and compact fluorescent bulbs never have flickering issues even if they are magnetically ballasted too.
I have some of the décore lights with the safety circuit. I think the ones I have are G16 in shape; I’d have to dig them out to check. I suppose if you had a specific type of bulb failure in something like a night light or festoon light, the overload protection might have some value.

It's very possible that they were made in Salem, MA.
For some reason, I can't find any coated incandescent lamps! They are always clear!
