Why would you want a robot dog? The experience of controling one is like nothing else. I would expect anyone to understand the purchase of one for development reasons but even in it's rawest form it's worth every penny.
The controls are amazingly precise. The level of confidence you get with it strait out of the box really proves its quality.
The AI is like nothing iv'e seen before. You can fully converse with it and ask it questions about it's self. It should be able to tell you anything you wish to know. Story's, Recipes, self-diagnostics and act out complex sequences. It has a sense of humor and is incredibly polite and courteous.
Can't wait to see how far we can go with these. Lots to come...

Very good video showing what is possible with the robot. Unfortunately, after a short time, he will no longer look very nice if you let him climb stairs. The shin guards won't help much. For this reason, my dog will have to live his life in my house.
I do intend to look after it but at the end of the day it’s going to be used and tested to its limits. This one will be getting some more protection added over time. Hopefully most parts are replaceable.
