Has PA done any studies on the ridiculous amount of salt used on our roadways during winter seasons, and what the affects are our waterways, fish, and wildlife? In my area of PA even the slightest chance of an inch of snow there are large amounts of salt that gets distributed throughout. I understand the need for safe roads during winter but over usage of salt must have some negative consequences. Are there any other alternatives then using salt on roads for minor snow events?
I saw 2 big white birds at Cross Creek lake. They were alittle smaller than a blue heron.
We have 9 that hang around the Ottawa River in Lefaivre Ontario Canada they've been here these past 2yrs
