Picking Hamid Mir in this all Lal Masjid incident is absolute nonsense . I still remember that press conference in which he asked Gen Mussharaf why don't you start Military Operation and Musharaf sb replied as I order for MO you will be the first one to condemn and make it a total fuss and Mir did the same...

Hamid Mir is such a charlatan.
The only thing I remember from this operation very clearly was him egging the Musharraf government to do something because “state within a state exists” & other pro-operation segments & interviews AND then flipped the day after the operation to “yahan toh bachian maar deen”.
Will never forget that.
I wish he was inside the mosque that day. Pakistan had been at a much better place today.
This lady is saying he was not wearing burqa... But his brother accepted that he tried to ran through burqa

this lady is telling it all wrong, she's downplaying the incident alot, as if this was just a comedy show for her... it doesn't seem like she eye witnessed anything, the only thing she eye witnessed is her stupidity...
It was suggested by the ministers at that time that he come out and negotiate and to avoid the media and public eye, he wear a Burqa. So he did. Then they caught him and humiliated him. All this was mentioned at the time by scholars like mufti Rafi Usmaani who were trying to mediate at the time to avoid bloodshed.
5000 students are.studing their from.which 2000 volunteer them as a guard and resistance.
First students destroys the illegal shops. No police interventions. Students encourages by the silence of government.
They are vulnerable week. Government give them time to gathered and organized so they can justified the milatry actions. At last all they need to excape gate. For me it is the worst example of inhumantarian brutality.

And finally our "independent" media reveal the truth, as opposed to promoting the propaganda against army and Musharraf in that time. This singular incident caused the lives of thousands, for not being reported factually.
@Advait K It isn't the casualties. This incident triggered a chain of reactions throughout the country. A string of targeted terrorist activities that killed innocent people in thousands.

First time I agree with Hamid Meer. I think Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was controlled by his elder family members. He was an educated, sensible person. He was influenced by his family members otherwise he would surrender.

Hamid mir played on both sides at that time. and Now what he is pretending.
On every wall about 1foot square you would find almost 4 to 10 holes of bullets or other things and madressa was burned but floor is neat and clean then how she would find fingers. By burning the mosjid even then the weapons are safe. Such nice authorities and media we have.
