- The rebar tier DF 16 offers labor relief well worth having. The mechanical device uses a proven twin wire mechanism which ties up to 1,000 uniform and firmly tied knots per hour. Great time saver quality tool 👍👍 It’s about time with all this technology that Someone developed a tool which operates efficiency and with one hand! Bravo! Worth every dollar spent. A real back saver too!
Nice for the 12mm bars where everything is touching.
Now tie a 30' wall in place with #11 verticals and #9 horizontals. I see this being efficient on smaller rebar ( like a bridge slab or shallow deck pour ) But not a complete replacement for the human ironworker

NICE.efficient and higher productivity rate. So the tie wire u're using is ur standard one, regardless of the rebar diameter to be bind?
Iron worker WILL ALWAYS COME OUT ON TOP, rebar tier df 16 is 2nd best.

Looks like only for thin rebar, what about your thicker 10s and up. Also depending on the job rebar has to be spaced out in a way that I already see that tool not working in, especially using thicker rebar. where more workers and body's need to help with moving rebar and tieing in a certain way, so that the rebar won't fall or slip.

Brennan u actually get paid pretty good for tying bar I work for a concrete company and I usually don't tie bar but we had a pretty good size job and they need help tying bar for the time I was there I was making $37 hourly

We had tis binder in 1996 tis nothing new .Its only good when you have blank steel if there is rust on and its raining it works not good .
I use MAX REBAR TIER RB 398. WOULDNT USE ANYTHING ELSE ! looks like you have to yank your arm pretty Hard to use this. No thanks . I need my right hand for after work.
No. Actually, it's much easier to use than any battery operated rebar tier. It's lighter and you do not need to bend over. Just try it.
