Honestly i prefer normal arena...cause in total you can get 2000 gems weekly. And i find the farming to be more easy cause you can fight whatever the hell you want, you can refresh refresh until you get the team that you are most confident in a win. Unlike champions arena where you are forced to fight certain teams if you want to score higher. And also CA now it's a stupid grind cause everyone is boosting, everyone low teams, it's not a matter of what team to fight, with what strategy, what team to put defensive to keep your spot...no..now it's a matter of who has more time to farm those low ass defensive teams..it's no fun, no challging, and boring asf.
Overall, I agree with this. If you have a decent enough roster, you can spend a few minutes on regular arena, play a few battles a day and be done with it while still ending up in a high rank like invincible. It might take more fights compared to CA, but overall, it is consistent because you have a choice of who you fight so it will usually take less time. With CA, you have to spend time being strategic about when you fight and even if you are smart about it, there are always boosters who will pass you no matter how much time you spend strategizing.

You are right in saying that you can get more gems since 2 seasons happen in one season of CA. I completely forgot to mention this. However I still prefer CA. In arena, yes you can refresh, but from my experience, it takes a long time to load and it can also take a long time to find a good team you want to fight. In CA you are forced to fight certain teams, but ever since that update where people can't use their defensive teams as offensive teams, I almost always find low threat teams to fight. Even in the last division I find super low level threat opponents. So because of this, I save sooo much time. Plus I don't think threat level matters when comparing arena and CA because in both game modes you can find teams you don't want to fight. And also from my experience, it's ALOT harder getting to the final division in arena versus getting to a high division in CA. Also normally with all the time I save playing CA, I usually spend like 20mins playing arena to at least get a few gems. Idk I guess it's all about preferencea and circumstances, but it's certainly an interesting debate 😎👍
I'll say Regular Arena is Better Because You could Avoid Hackers. While In Champions Arena, If There's A Hacker You Kinda Have No Choice But To Go Against Them If You Want The Points.

It is extremely annoying sometimes. I will say that regular arena requires a lot less time though if you're aiming for Division 1 in CA compared to say invincible in arena. However, this differs between individuals due to various things like when the person started playing, roster depth etc.

I think the reason why they put 5 pips in regualr arena is to "have something to do in the game". As a beginner, you have a little amount of energy and ofc you will spend them all in campaign to lv up heros like Grid, Green Lantern, Aquaman..etc. and you usually do it with sims. at this point you litteraly have nothing to do beside jump into arena. if they reduce the amount of pips, the game will be login take rewards and go. (which mean the game will get small amount of play time)
I think regular arena is better awards because you get gems and shards and stuff you can buy shards from arena store, the gems in regular arena you get two times gems while waiting for champions arena to end but champions arena helped me a lot to progress in the game, before I could make it through elite 4 and untouchable but now I depend on arena not champions arena, but the awards from champions arena still good in titen division
in arena there's a glitch to save you time in champs the hackers keep you down and you end up playing your whole roster in arena you can literally get top 50 by playing jl mv bn loa 1 and loa 2 ba nw prob with loa tbh you can play legendaries who can beat teams on their own and battles last so short you can play gl team if you actually want to have fun imo you get better rewards from arena
Also like you said nobody with op teams and every charecter maxed plays regular arena except for the gems unless they have the time so there isn't much competition following Champs there are hackers who can get way more points than you and way less time in arena the highest points you can get from one battle is 817k and the odds that you're going to find that with all of your teams in a short amount of time is 0 in CA u worry about srategy in arena you throw in one of those teams vs a 400K point team 400*5*7=14 mil in less than an hour and that's all you need to get top 50 tbh unless you get unlucky and get put in an arena with people who can play all day who I might add are the people with lower accounts who are hacking can and spending less time there cause the stand no chance at all
so my final verdict is which arena is better depends on the specific arena and champs arena that specific person got into, how much time they have, how high their roster is, how much they need the charecter of that season and gems/medals vs how much they need prismats and gems compared to how long they take and their playstyle. There is no definite answer it is completely personal I for one have around a 3 mil roster and stay between divs 54,3 and I might get to 2 and in arena my arena is easy(started in july but haven't been able to play bc of login issues and not having enough space to download the game) the only charecter I had g60 6* at the end of July was aaam and he was and still is unoptimized in November I really started playing again and was able to get bncw now my main arena team is AAA bncw and df/pg and I can get top50 at the end of the season even if I lose a bunch of battles and still get about 25 mil so I find that easy to get 10-13 mil per day as opposed to taking that 2hrs in the early morning to play champs where I would be high if I played but cannot manage both easily and still keep peak human condition. Anyway I see arena as better cause I get to play whatever team I want to beat the same teams which does get repetitive whereas in champs I have to worry about sttategy and time and what to do if I used up my top 3 teams and a team too high for what I got left appears. But if I had a higher account I bet I wouldn't be saying that.

My biggest hate in arena is when you run out of pips and you are a level 2 elite and when you log on after pip reset you are knocked down to competitor 4. I didn't lose points while offline, my 7 million points + doesn't seem to matter
This is old and I’m not certain of you’re complaining or confused but I think you’re misunderstanding the arena system. You’re graded based on the other users. For example, to get Elite 4 you need to be in the top 1% of of users. So if you get knocked down, it’s because other people got more points and you’re in a lower percent now. It lists the exact numbers on the wiki.
@@akashdasarraju3280 yes I know elite 4 is around the 200 mark but that doesn't change the fact that I hate the way you can slide down from an elite 3 and wake up a competitor 1. I understand the sliding scale, loving or hating it is just an opinion, my opinion is I haye it.
True. I completely forgot to mention that 2 seasons of arena happen in 1 season of CA. However I find that getting to legendary on arena takes a VERY long time. Personally I prefer playing about an hour of CA (at most), then playing about 10-20mins of arena. This way o dont play for too long while still getting alot of gems and a good amount of shards. Plus like I said, after a while, the shards you get on Arena become useless once you get your character to 6 stars.
@@alterlivefr for a mediocre and beginners arena is the best bet and also they have easier arenas + I only fight 4 teams max to be in invincible and CA on the other hand is sometimes easy af in div 4 and 5 but when u go higher people with 3m teams appear making it impossible for the newbies to progress

They nerfed the amount of gems they give in regular arena.
