You've Gotta Be Totally Nuts - Extreme Rock Crawl at Sand Hollow Utah
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 лис 2019
- This obstacle is called "You've gotta be totally nuts" and can be found right next to the "You've gotta be nuts" obstacle on the Maze trail in Sand Hollow Utah. It was the most scary, insane, hard core, sketchy, obstacle I have ever done! One mistake and its all over! The video doesn't do it justice but by leaving the entire climb in there and showing different camera angles I hope it gives you somewhat of a sense of how vertical this was. And yes, this is a Jeep Cherokee, not a tube buggy;)

Your shots out the front of the Scorpion showed the true incline of the trail. OMG!!!!!!!!!
Mike Hoffman absolutely, point at the sky
Jeremy saying he doesn't know the line and sounded like he had his stomach in his throat just as much as Matt did making those attempts getting extremely tippy.
lol, ya I was surprised when I saw the footage! I think Jeremy was more nervous than I was, 😬
4.0 POWER!!!! Soooo hyped for u on ur rig performing so good and the driver has a lot to do with it tooo 👍
You and Jeremy represented very well! Congrats on the 10 day ride and you made it home safe!
Damn... that was impressively sketchy, or sketchily impressive... either way you rock!
Søren Melchior Hahahaha he is crazy either way
When a climb looks steep on video. More hair ball wheelin. Absolutely love it.
The video definitely doesn't do it justice, that line was steep and sketchy! Nice work - fist time I've heard Jeremy scared speechless!
I know right! First time in all the videos he wasn't yelling spotting directions
🤘😎👍
Lol wasn't the only one who noticed.
When the guy with him asked a question about the shifter and he gave the 'Uhh Yeah' response I about died 😂. He said it like I say it to my wife when she asks a question and Im totally not paying attention.
4.0 POWER!!!!! Good drive Matt and sooo hyped to see ur rig killing the trails 👍
2 words come to mind, TENACIOUS FORTITUDE!
..awesome climb, Matt. Great video!
Awesome climb Matt! So cool to see the Scorpion Crawler all the way across the country wheeling! Love the footage man, keep up the good work & keep @bleepinrose on the payroll. You guys are great! 👍🏼
Sand hollow is one of the Hidden gems here in Utah. Video still doesn’t do that climb justice. Good job Matt!
That obstacle is so sketchy for many. Great job getting up & over it Matt!
That smile in the end summarised it all, full of fear excitement and sense of accomplishment. Welcome to the nutt's club
Being from Utah, I know the trail and know how the pics and videos just don't do it justice.
I have to give you and the Scorpion a ton of credit!!!!
I was on the edge of my seat, and my heart was pounding!
Thanks man!
The Maze is one of my favorite trails

That was BADASS! Only saw the roll before. I didn't know you made it. SUPER Climb. My 94 XJ needs to be like yours.....
The roll was a different obstacle, happened to be the next one after this 🤦♂️
Put everybody on notice out there, bleepin Jeep reigns king
dana 44's and the 4.0L, great job Matt
Mad respect for Matt.
That was so close to a rollover I bet you were crapping yourself? Love the video and congratulations on the climb.
Matt, I'm so impressed with that climb. It's more than I'd be wiling to tackle for sure. However, my old 87 Renix could sure use some more power so I'll look up his shop. Welcome home and have a fantastic Thanksgiving. I'm very interested is storage solution ideas and fabrication in general.
That is why the word AWESOME 😎 was made 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Can’t believe a stock XJ did that! Nice work Matt.
Stock baby! 🤣👍
WOW! My hands are sweat'n sitting here in my chair watching!
🤘😎👍
In cab camera action would be an awesome addition to the footage!!!
I hope to see you throwing the wheel around, kicking peddles and giving the slap down to the shifter in future videos. 😜👍

Lmao! Matt’s Ian Johnson now! Your so freakin funny man
F***in Mint 😁👌🏼 You got some big brass ones brotha 🤙🏼

Not bad for a stock XJ. 😉👍
i just love people who know how to drive when they cant do it themselves
Good shit!!!
That was awesome
More fab work Please!
You should do rear steer on it over the winter.
Nice climb "Ian" HA HA.
My pucker factor was way up there just watching this video!
The Maze is an all around fun trail.
Do a video review on those sticky treps!
Steep! Impressive climb for a fully stocked trail rig. I bet if you emptied out the back of the jeep (all the tools/coolers and such), it would walk right up it, it looked >that< close.
intense for sure!
So what power adders ? damn that was amazing !!!
Hooooooly crap. That was awesome!
Makin me a nervous wreck!
Whats the whee base of the Scorpion?? I have a MJ buggy on 40s HP60/14B/ 5.3L/241c and my wheelbase is 112". Hopefully mine climbs as well as yours
Oneida my dad was born and raised about 15 miles south of there in a small community called Robbins need to tune up my 96 4.0
Cool video. How about building a wj?
That looked super sketchy.... but fun
holy shit. Respect.
What's the angle? Pushing 60 degrees I think... Holy smokes... Brass ones Matt.

That was totally nuts.....
You and “Ian” are totally nuts!! Power couple!! 💪💥😂❤️🐞
It’s a Bug’s Life - Would love to see you on this trip next year! Your sense of humor and other assets are awesome Bug!
PNW XJ - Thank You!! It’s on our Bucket List to go to SEMA! If only I was invited 😂🤣😂🤣🤔
I was shouting at my screen...hahahaha.
That was epic
nice sky
Best wheelin in the world right here in Utah.
Maaatttt! Mui Bueno!
So many times a lot of people would back down, getting afraid of falling over. You just call Moyie tried again and that’s why you beat the obstacle
It took you 10 minutes to climb one trail? 😂
BustedKnuckleVideo but did you climb it?
Well technically you and the Mega RZR are still at it soooo... for you its 1 month and still counting 😂😂😂
BleepinJeep haha. I’m over here on your side and you gonna burn me? Dang
Lol, I didnt see your comment kevin, I was mentioning matt myrick and his mega rzr... but now that you mention it 🤔🤣😅🤣😅👍
😂😂😂
axle rear dana 44?
Oh FELLA you got a coupla big ones!!!!!!!
The comancheep needs links and coils to match its duck butt. There, I said it. 🍻
🤘😎👍 I second this!
Holy wow!
I puckered from here.
Comancheap I would like to see that fixed and out for a day of wheeling, that by far is my favourite build you’ve done
Matt, it’s becoming a trend do to JK D44 axel swaps on TJs & Xjs instead of one tons since the TJ / XJ platform is way lighter than the JKs. Any way to can to a JK to XJ axel swap vid. Thanks Dennis
But my xj/tj axles work great 🤔🤣👍
BleepinJeep yeah but not everyone can afford those big name axels
Have you tried using the winch as a suck down? I would think it have helped on the climb. Are you running any water in your tires?
In hind sight I should have but I had no idea how steep it was until I got up there and then it was too late to get out and hook it up.
No, no water.
More wheelin please
"jeremy say something" LOL
So is that why the scorpion left the fan ride early?
Yes indeed 👍
I can vouch for 4wheel drive performance I've had a couple of my buggy's worked on by them they are a good guys and most important is I trust them! 🦅🇺🇸🦅
Hey Matt would like to see update and more on Duck butt Chubby chaser

I'd like to do a series on how to drive... maybe next summer
🤘😎👍
In cab camera action would be an awesome addition to the footage in general!!!
I hope to see you throwing the wheel around, kicking peddles and giving the slap down to the shifter in future videos. 😜👍
