No its not, this is more comprehensive and useful for someone like me. Many vids just show you how to do it not the process of the machine. I'd like to know how it cleans the drum. For example im living off grid and cant use the high electricity requirement for the heater. Ill have to do it manually. To know how many flush will it be and when would be are useful info. So i know when to add in hot water manually and how much. Thank you for making this vid.
Very useful, I just installed my machine, series 5, it was useful to see the lights go through the cycle, my instructions booklet is very complex, but it does not explain the light sequences. I could not start the calibration cycle, that was recommended, so I started with a drum clean. Any thoughts on calibration not working?
I did a drum clean adding detergent soap in mine. Hope that would have still served the same purpose? Or do I have to do another drum clean without detergent?
Just like to say you should always leave the door open to let moisture out of the washing machine that will help get rid of them moisture and mould build-up.. I just thought I'd put pointer cross.. lol
I have a Samsung washing machine but do not have the drum clean option. Would it be good enough to set it, for example, on Denim with 60'C with 1200RPM and let it run its course?
It would be wasted. If you notice around 2:40 it drains out the water and your cleaning product has been flushed down the drain. This is uniquely Sansung behaviour in their drum clean program. My LG does not do that. It means you cannot use any cleaning products with their drum clean program and if you need to then you will either have to wait for the first drain to complete and then add the product or use another program. Typically the longest, hottest with intensive option selected.

Thanks. What if we don't do the drum clean? Can we put some dusting or cleaning cloth in the cycle while drum cleaning? I suppose the dusting cloth can take advantage of the hot water and clean itself?
I have a 9kg eco bubble and after running the drum clean and the whole sensor display steamed up and now all the machine washing program settings are wrong. Every program is at least half of its running time and the sounds are barely audible?? Has anyone had this problem?
It means there was a leak and water got into the display, you should probably not use it because it can damage it further or cause a short circuit and do a lot of damage. Have it serviced.
The heater takes much of the electricity. Make sure your electricity is above the requirement. Or just dont use the heater option but it wouldnt be effective.
No Don't!!!! I added detergent and there was soap suds everywhere. It leaked from the tray and door. It damaged the circuit board and stopped working. I had to buy a new one 😭
I think this video can be shortened into 1 minute and it will still serve the same purpose 😆
I totally agree but try telling UA-cam algorithm that.
At least she did not put 2 hours 23 minutes video along with the drum clean time😂😂😂.

@@keepmovn8039 Not sure you can know, as the machine cleans itself?

The wee tune is pretty catchy but the future is upload your own song to the washing machine’s program 😂

Won't work. It drains the water out after the first two minutes.
Samsung say Do Not do that.

That's a good idea!
How many times does it water-fill and drain-out? Im planning to manually fill in bleach through the dispenser after each drain.
My washing machine when I washed for the second time it couldn’t pick up the soap what could be the reason ?
Did you get a reminder when to do the drum clean as you suppose to after 40 waskes?
Yes
Mine went automatically to drum clean setting after each wash

Do we need to put any detergent or anything while drum cleaning?

Have you tried to recalibrate the machine by running the CB program?

With wich program do you wash jeans?
On the mix load usually with dark colours. I turn my jeans inside out before putting them in the drum.
