Since you're comparing Cold Steel to Fallkniven I can just say that Fallkniven are on another level of quality. That is why they cost 2x more. That is why I like Fallkniven. They don't compromise when it comes to manufacturing. They could easily have shifted production from Japan to Taiwan to make more profit but they didn't. Not to mention, Fallkniven's customer service is A+. Cold steel's customer service is lousy. Just speaking from experience.
Glad to see Cold Steel beef up the tip on the 3V Master Hunter. The Italian version was scary thin...after junking the Fallkniven sheath’s for custom kydex, I definitely carry S1 & A1 more than my 3V SRK and MH. The Cold Steels have ended up being vehicle and/or kit knives.
Nice review and comparison, man! 👍 I own many Fallkniven knives, and really like them, but I may give this 3V Master Hunter a try. It appears to be a solid value. Cheers! 🥃
Nice review! I've found the new Fallkniven NEZ sheaths to be a big upgrade. What are your thoughts on the Fallkniven Embla after 6+ months of using it?
I agree, those sheaths are much better for lockup, and rattle! I guess I am just used to the old school cheap sheaths haha The Embla is 100% my favorite Fallkniven. I am a sucker for desert ironwood and the F1 blade profile. It fits my lifestyle very well.

What's your favorite fallkniven?
@@Frdtsl That’s a tough one! I’d have to give you two, the F1 and the A1.
@mcj5644 you don't like the x models?
@@Frdtsl I have an A1XB and it’s a terrific knife.
@mcj5644 what's a better steel elmax or lcos?

Thanks for an update. Are you teasing us with your DD pew pew?
Just keeping UA-cam on its toes haha
do you know if the current sheath still has the issue of dulling the blade?
@@michaelfilippello2421 I haven’t noticed any dulling from the sheath, but that is always a possibility when you use a kydex or plastic sheath.
This knife is on sale on bladehq for 140$… While on Amazon its 95$ as regular price… Why is that so ?
