@@Time4Life321 I bought it because of your review by the way. lol You convinced me and your video on this watch was the best ive seen yet. This watch deserves the recognition and it also has a great workhorse Japanese Miyota 8215 auto movement.
@@Time4Life321 I just bought one tonight you may like, The STEELDIVE SD1953 Classic Water Ghost Ceramic Bezel, jubilee bracelet, Seiko NH35 light blue, and...the price is so right. Im so impressed with Steeldive and what they are doing
@@jasons2562 I’ll have to check out steeldive. I just recently started a review on an AddiesDive watch which I’m really impressed with. Some of there watches are very similar
Timex is a brand that I’d like to love too, but when the time comes to choose, I always go for other options (not that I buy that many watches, this applies also to “in my head purchases” , if you know what I mean…). This one looks very interesting though. I might buy it in my head sometime soon! Thanks for the review! Ah, and here you said it:you have a 7’ wrist.
Found the XL navi and Snoopy Marlin 70th aniversay on Timex official store and they cost me about USD 100 each for the decent automatic with nice looking watches. So i did not hesitate to buy them. Looking forward to the dlivery now. Thanks for the review.
I just bought one of these new and it contains a newer 8215 movement which does have hacking. So if you are looking to purchase one in the wild you may want to check for this.
Great review! Like you, I so wanted to love TImex as I grew up with their digital indiglo watches. However, they never seemed to get the automatic watches right. This one is pretty close. Agreed that if it is $200 or less then it's a more compelling offering.
Hi ch ca. thanks for watching. I agree. Yea, it’s all about context. For under $200 it seems like a nice watch but if it were closer to $300 or more I would have to pass.
You are making me worried whether I should consider Timex at all... I have heard that people say they have issues but 3/4 is nuts. They do look great though but I dont want to be the guy that has to send my watch back over and over... 🙁
Hi johanvandersand8904. There are a lot of people who are adamant Timex fans. I’ve talked with people who collect nothing but Timex. And I really want to like Timex but right now I’m still on the fence. Not overly impressed but not willing to give up on them either.
Thank you for the response. Yeah I feel like you do. I want them to be good! They have such a great history and their products are unique so I want to see if this American classic is worth it! Anyways I hope you have a great day!
@@alexandersharpeofficial hi Alexander. Hacking means the second hand stops when you pull the crown out to set the time. It’s a way to be more accurate when setting the time. Thanks for watching.
This is a great watch and I love the blue colour. Great overall package for the price especially on sale. The bracelet also feels like quality.
Hey Jason S. Definitely the nicest Timex I’ve come across. Thanks for watching.
