hello! i know it's been years but I recommend using Sims 4 for creating and designing your characters! its so helpful since it has unlimited choices and designs because of the CCs🤗
The concept of a characters race is such a TOPIC I could ramble about it for ages. In the novel I'm currently working on I took out all descriptors of the character other than the fact that she wears glasses. living in north America the concept of mc race v.s. author race can be so messy
it really is!!!! there's so much confliction concerning the writing industry and the unspoken standards for writing POC and non-POC characters. some authors are being called out for lack of diversity and some who write very diverse books are being called out for not representing the races authentically. it's a very interesting topic for sure!!🤍
I love this video!! Thank you for sharing both of those character building resources--I tried them both out and they're really cool! I always love seeing how other writers develop their characters. For me it's something that comes to me first in my process (like their physical appearance, personality, and motivations), but I always struggle with setting and theme 🤷♀
i'm so glad you could find them useful!!😊 i always find it interesting to know other writers' processes and how they differ or are the same from mine! i usually establish my setting right away but i usually don't establish a theme until i'm deeper into my writing haha
I made an Artbreeder account, and I plan to use it when I start writing in 2023. The way you explained what you can do is less scary than what others make it out to be. [Unrelated] Would you ever consider a 'How I set up my Scrivener' type of video? I'd think that would be a popular video to make in the future.

i screenshot the avatar and then use a free online background remover to make it transparent! may be a better method out there but i find that to work pretty well!! :)

hey :) my tip is to come up with a story idea you would want to read, characters you love and to just start writing! wether you jump right in or plan it out beforehand i say the best thing you can do to start is go for it!
