Looks great Glen. Personally, I think the wheels being darker looks better than if they were the same shade. Gives it contrast and makes it look meaner 👍

Great work Glenn, you might be able to change the gold by cleaning off a layer of the gold seem to be over anodized. Also you need the new Kyosho Le Mans gold motor.

Get the carbon top deck for it Glenn, it's another upgrade well worth doing to lift the look of the chassis. A total stunner of a chassis for sure.

Great Job I did the same car but I went all out gold! Control arms, tie rod, hubs, rims, body paint . Will put my pics on the facebook group. Love the car! 👍

Nothing wrong with the different shades of gold on the wheels at all. A little contrast punches things up a bit. When people get caught up in making everything match perfectly, they can end up doing it a disservice and leave things rather bland.

Wish you woulda popped the body on, just fore a quick look. Honestly, I like the wheels being slightly darker, in color. Gives the chassis a bit more contrast and looks more dynamic. Such a gorgeous ride, man!
BTW, that's QUITE the collection and I assume, its not even all of it lol.

It's certainly very , very pretty Glenn. The wheels can/could have the anodising removed or partially removed but to me, they look cool man!! Love the Marwan tyres too, and your tyre writing is superb. The Bridgestone tyres are a must on a car of this standard!! As you know, I love Optima's of all types to drive and look at, but I think this maybe very special when it's complete! Thumbs up Bud!

Appsalutly beautiful. Yes chassy in front, body behind. No way I could run that either. Didn't Kyosho have a gold Le Mans motor? That would be cool. The wheels I think set it off. It makes the chassy stand alone. Awesome.

The Pargu store sells the side guards in "gold" and in "Kyosho gold". So they know that there is a difference in color saturation. The wheels are only available in "gold". Once they were in Kyosho gold but it seems they changed it some time ago. Still it looks very nice. I am curiously waiting to see your finished Turbo Optima body shell.

Looking good. You should get the Revive-rc polycarbonate undertray for this car just incase you decide to take it for a drive. I picked one up and it looks great. Another great vid as usual!

I ran into the same problem with colour not matching. I blinged out a WLToys 144001 (yes I know not the same) but I went with all "Gold" alloy, everything matched except the diff covers.
Yeah that sort of thing can be really frustrating 😡🤕

To be honest the silver Phillips screws on the nerf guards are more off putting than the wheels but both irk me for a shelf queen

I do not like them side rails. Imo they are a poor design for something so simple. The bolt and nut to hold them together look awful and when the body is on, you can't see it? Plus it's all flat when rails should be rounded.

Wouldn't it be awesome if you could get a full aluminum cage in a selected color for the Javelin? I would love to make that thing as much aluminum as possible and see just how heavy I can get one. Hey there is an idea, see how heavy you can make a Kyosho instead of how light 🤔 lol
