The placing of trees and foiliage can hide any major discrepancies…we’ve all used this in model building I’m sure. Great video, great use of magnorail.
WOW!! Now THAT'S fantastic!! Great job and very clever use of mirrors. I just happened on this channel after watching another magnarail video for ideas on my layout. This one I love!! Thanks! You have a new sub. Brian
What a amazing and ingenious project... wonderful result. You give a clear, concise explanation of how it is build, but we can only wonder how much care and work it was to build it...your choice of background music is most tasteful.... thank you for posting...
Great stuff. As far as I know when magicians do this it's always covered on top, e.g. use it under a table, so the mirrors only reflect floor and wall elements. It looks like you gravitated to that with tree cover. Well done, tricky to pull off but it works
That's really clever, just proves that magic and mirrors really are the same thing! For me the least convincing part of the model was at 8:38, I don't think Shell has ever sold petrol that cheap 😅
Don’t know how I found this and was thinking voice was familiar, more I watched it realised the similarities to Darren brown ghost train at Thorpe park using mirrors to hide the train supports

That’s not a garage… it’s a Tardis with the chameleon circuit stick on the garage setting… what a superb build! Thank you!
Great video John, fantastic illusion. Good to see content on here again keep it coming please!
Wonderful stuff. Glad I found this. Thanks for creating all these amazing moments!

Genius, respect for such idea
Wish you happy modeling
I was also impressed from your stone carving tutorial

Spectacular. Not a model-maker by any stretch, and was wonderfully baffled by the simplicity of the optical illusion.
Amazing video!! The mirror effect is so convincing! You really had me! Good job John, keep the good content up!
Excellent video John! Hope you’re doing well, great to see another instalment of the magic Nemesis :D

Surely some else saw the Alton towers refrences
I did!
I was only able to guess how it worked because of Ghost Train at Thorpe Park.
Love the little shop name references, John! ;) You are an inspiring person :)
One of the most inspiring modellers videos I ever stumbled upon, if only the music and the dry comments! 😀
thats brilliant well thought out, proper majic 👍👍👍
Wow that was so amazing! Beautiful creations and dedication. Well done, it’s brilliant!
VERY well thought out.
Great work!! 👍👍😉😊
Great work..!
Million thanks for sharing..
Very impressive. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Mirrors are the most useful tool for illusions! This is very clever and even more technical than I expected.
Very clever. What a great hobby!

It is a TARDIS.

Simply... BRILLIANT !!!!!!!
Amazing, thanks very much for sharing!
Just brilliant !!
Now that is so neat on how you did that with the garage. I am not that talented but that is really neat. Thanks for sharing this.
Very clever Sir. Well done.
That's really cool!
Super idea!
AMAZING!!!
That's so cool well made environment as well
That is brilliant!
That's incredible.
Very nice! Once you know what to look for you can see it, but even then it takes a bit of looking.
That's brilliant.
☮
Very well done
Absolutely mind blowing
Subscribed :)
Love the model - Brilliant nod to Nemesis at 8:27!
And John Wardley!
Been a magician 30 years so very interested in mirrors, have often done effects using them
Excellent !
Amazing 👍
Even with explanations, the building is still amazing !
nicely done sir!
Oh, this is good!!!
wow, nice idea!!!
Absolut phantastic, I love it =)
Brilliant! just Brilliant, Thanks John. Cheer's John V
Glad you enjoyed it
Super, thank you.
Cool!)
Very fine!🏚
Fantastisch!!
I was waiting for this video for over a year :D
I hope you found it worth waiting for!
Absolutely :) I'm thinking of making my own on my current h0 project.
I hope we see this in large scale oneday.🙂
that was smart thinking! i knew it has something to do with reflecting the view to block the cars but mirrors does the trick!!
That is so clever
Genius idea and execution :)
Brillant
Consider using a "front surface" or "first surface" mirror to get a better effect with less visible edges.
If the tree trunk was split and half stuck on the mirror pannel that would look cool
Don’t know how I found this and was thinking voice was familiar, more I watched it realised the similarities to Darren brown ghost train at Thorpe park using mirrors to hide the train supports

Bro finally remembered his password
👍
😂😂😂😂 I just love how I says my garage is bigger than yours😂😂😂😂
I can see some creative possibilities using a Tardis model with this technique -- then there's no wall graffiti required!
Sorcerer!
Jhon wardly? Is that you?
Other people you can't have more than one cerea me.
44" TRACK, not Wheelbase.
Or just use a red 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder and have the back of the garage open.
OK Ferris. 👍😉😊
And then hide the rest with the camera angle.
I think the owner from the nice house would be not happy with that ugly garage in front.
Pure genius
