Hey man, just wanted to say thank you. I'm in the middle of pulling my engine on my 2005 and your videos have been my guide throughout. Must have watched each one 10 times. Thanks so much.

Outstanding walkthrough series thank you! I’m sure some people might not like that you don’t show every little thing like draining the coolant etc, but this was perfect for understanding the highlights and gotchas, and getting a general idea for an approach that works. Hugely helpful, thank you again!

Great set of videos, thanks. Gonna be doing one next week. Does the trans HAVE to come out? I'm worried about pulling so much weight with the hoist I'll be using

J.Kampovideos it doesn't have to come out with it, all you have to do is make sure you get it up off the engine mounts and then pull it forward to clear the transmissions input shaft and then you should be able to just lift it straight out

I’m gonna do a swap in a 2007 ford mustang gt and I just want to know if that is better to remove the engine with transmission together and that could be possible

Would it be easier to take it out without the transmission?

2 belts on the headers. Passenger side at the rear, driver side at the front.

ALLMUSCLE i removed the engine only. When trying to install the new one, i'm having problems to mate the tranny with the engine. Is there a trick to finally get both engine and tranny flushed with each other?
