The irony is: Gibson typically used a "tremolo" on the original guitar model itself. It was a Vibrola Maestro unit. Not a great system as it would go out of tune easily if you tried dive bombs, but all vibrato units would do this regardless, especially the Fender unit seen here. They were initially for tapping and creating a "tremolo" effect, hence the name. Guys like Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Clapton and Blackmore used them far more aggressively and along came Eddie Van Halen who became a dive bomb specialist. That ushered in a guitarist name Floyd Rose to patent the first locking tremolo and the rest is history
He's pointing at the bridge sayign gitaurists of the time would do these crazy things with a tremolo - meaning a floating bridge like a Floyd Rose, and you needed a thick guitar so you could cut the cavity to have this. This guitar does not have one... Even though he's pointing at it.
The seller is left handed and has the strap set up for left handed play. Also the output jack is where it would be on a left handed model, although it was clearly originally designed for a right handed player. Maybe he played 'upside down' or maybe he has changed the bridge/nut set up, we are not getting the close ups but it's going to need work to make it playable for a right handed player. It also looks like it has heavily nicotine stained paint. I seriously doubt it would fetch the kind of money that some people are suggesting here.
