Calexico is a Tucson, Arizona-based Americana / Tex-Mex / indie rock band. The band's two main members are Joey Burns and John Convertino. Their musical style is influenced by traditional Latin sounds of mariachi / conjunto / cumbia / Tejano music and also the Southwestern United States country music as well as '50s-'60s jazz and '90s-'00s post-rock, and they have been described by some as "desert noir" or indie rock.

I saw Calexico here in Brisbane about seven years ago and they were fucking brilliant... Awesome arrangements of great songs and Joey was in top form... Can't believe how superb the backing musicians were as they changed instruments with no problems and the brass arrangement was just so tight.. It really was a fantastic night.

Great concert, Calexico is my most loved band, absolutely favourite. I can listen them for full days, even my wife, although she likes them too, sometimes can't stand it :) Best wishes from Poland!

Sorry but, the sound quality is terrible, can't hear the singer for most of the 1st track which, unfortunately was all I could stand of it, GUTTED.
