I always tell people. You don’t have to like it and you don’t have to watch it. But they act like they’re being forced to watch something and have to like it. So many people I knew went into the live action show wanting to hate it. And surprise to no one, they that hated. The Sequels lost everyone from the originals but hitting most hard is trying to write star wars without Lucas. The "toxic" part of the star wars fandom is the super small fraction of people who harrassed the cast. The 60-80% majority(based on polls of peoples favourite eras of the franchise) are the people who recognise the drop in quality and will complain about it cause someone has taken their franchise and treated it poorly

I think (don’t quote me on this) most of the stuff she was responsible for editing ended up getting cut. But I’m sure she did have some good input at least on the first two movies. I believe she was the first to suggest that Kenobi should be killed off at the end of the first movie, but that’s the only example I can remember. Star Wars was not saved in the edit in the sense that it was a crap movie before the editors came in, because every movie needs to be edited and touched up before being released. Lucas approved of all the editing that was done by his team. One thing that is pretty interesting in regards to the prequels is the fact that nobody would direct them because they didn’t want to get in Lucas’s way. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend checking out “How ‘How Star Wars was Saved in the Edit’ was Saved in the Edit” (I think that’s the correct title but it may be slightly different). It really breaks down the original video that started this narrative of “the only reason A New Hope was any good was because of the editing team” and disproves most of that video’s arguments. I don’t think the prequels are perfect, because they do have their issues, though I do hold them in high regard and I like them as much as the OT.

Nope modern star wars is ass. Korra wasn't that great but it had its moments. Live action Avatar ruined the characters.
How are they ruined when their true forms, the animated versions, still exist? Its not like they got replaced.

what a great vid man, glad this hit my algorithm today, u found a fun angle here I havent seen yet, and you delivered on it, keep it up bruh. I noticed everyone in my circle who complained about the show after watching 1. didnt finish it or 2. complained about it before it was even out, making me think they would have complained no matter what. I think this show did a good enough job that I enjoyed my time with it, I wasn't offended... not perfect but I think they can do better for sure, theres some stuff cooking here. Glad to see it got renewewd

I still heavily dislike No Way Home’s story and execution…so it’s a 6/10 for me. I have more respect for the Shang Chi movie and Black Panther 2
So true these fans are ruining the enjoyment for themselves and everyone else. ATLA live action was fine and enjoyable to watch but season 2 hasnt been announced because of all the hate even though its the #1 most viewed premier in netflix history. I watched one review about the live action avatar from overanalyzing avatar and then i get like 100 different channels with 5 subs on the homepage with titles saying the show is shit. Ill never understand how people can get so psychotically invested in these certain medias to the point of being toxic scum humans who attack the actors or just generally spread hate.
The show is getting a season 2 and 3. I think right now what you're seeing is a lot of people rushing to be first just to say the same thing that everyone else is saying. Hating on the show gets you views.

You're 100 percent correct. At first, they were flat out racist and sexist. Then they all got masters degrees and became the gatekeepers of good writing. How can you claim that your kind is superior when you review bomb a movie because it hurt your fragile feelings?
