Take mature Hibiscus Mutabilis branch and cut it like me. Plant Hibiscus Mutabilis branch cutting in the river sand in pot. Give water first day and keep it shady place for growing sprout. Give water once time in a week. After 45 days you will get roots. You can do it anytime.

Yes, thicker branches are better. Because thick branches grow more roots. But you can plant thin branch.

Those are some impressive roots! I just lost my 15 year old confederate rose, she was over 8 feet tall and just as wide. I'm trying for another one. I do not know where to get river sand? When is the best time to propagate? I am in Texas, zone 8B

Seed plant take 5-6 years to start flowering.
