Ruud Koornstra, Chief Public Energy Commissioner

On January 12th 2017, Ruud Koornstra gave his opening remarks as the new commissioner heading the Netherlands Energy Commission. This public initiative hopes to attract 1 million members who support faster energy transition away from a dependency on fossil fuels. The goal is for an energy positive Netherlands by 2030.
