Thank you so much I've recently taken the practice GED and there's a couple of them I could not work out the problem! But I would sure like to know how to do the big problems when they have the X's in them
The calculator will handle your numeric calculations but it doesn't do the algebra for you; you have to know what happens with variables such as x. This is one of the reasons it is so important to focus the majority of your study time on algebra.
Now that I've learned about the "quick convert" button (double arrows right above the equal sign), I pretty much just have my students leave the calc in Mathprint all the time for the GED. There's no reason to go to classic mode :).
quick dumb question, will learning this calculator enable me to pass, past couple of test I just guess on the questions cause I have no clue on how to solve, I've already passed all the other 3 subjects but math is holding me back sadly
Learning the calculator is definitely useful but it's also important to know how to use the formula sheet, do basic alg, and interpret word problems. Not sure where your weaknesses lie but you can practice all this and more on my website, the GED Math Crash Course www.lightandsaltlearning.org
@@LightandSaltLearning On your website (Calculator Gymnastics) I can not get a answer to the 14th question to save my life, constantly get a error on my calculator no matter how I do it
@@joe102674 Ah! Yes... these are tricky to input because you have to know when to use the minus key and when to use the negative key. Let me see what I can do.
Thank you
You're welcome!
Awesome explanation I can understand how to use calculator
Yay!

Praise God! I was able to do a couple of them, I will continue to watch your videos I think they are amazing thank you so much.
