Prince played his first ever Irish concert today 30 years ago at Pairc UI Chaiomh. This brings back so many great memories. My first Prince concert. I was 15 years old and it changed my life and I was lucky enough to get to see him another 16 times throughout the ensuing years (plus 3 aftershows). There'll never be another performer/artist like him. O(+>
Fair play Martin, you’re lucky to have seen him so many times. I didn’t get to this one, first was in 93. I’m sure you were at the Point shows in 95 and 02, as well as Malahide in 11. Great shows all.
@@andrewmcbrinn3133 I was Andrew. Got to all his Irish gigs and attended The Hop Farm gig and a few of the O2 gigs on the 21 NIGHTS... Tour in '07. Plus the legendary Manchester Academy gig and Arena shows in '14. Fantastic.
I was at this concert and it was the best gig I was ever at, 33 years ago now. What a legend he was. I still have all the albums he ever made including some very rare outake albums wich are impossible to get now.
All his concerts and tours should be available on DVD and Blu Ray for fans to purchase, from the 1980s to 2014.
No matter what any1 says, he was and STILL IS the VERY best of the best💜
