BAD WAY TO BUILD A HOUSE !! PART 1
WE ARE ON DAY ONE REPLACING COLD STUD WALLS CLAD WITH UGLY PLASTIC SHIP LAP BOARDS WITH NICE SOLID, WARMER FIBOLITE BLOCK WALLS. WE ARE ALSO ADDING SOME BLOCKWORK TO THE EXISTING PORCH.
WE USE OUR MILWAUKEE MX FUEL SAW AS WELL AS OUR TRESTLES TO HELP WITH THE JOB.
WE HAVE MORE RAIN AND A QUITE FRUSTRATING START TO THE JOB .....ENJOY

I am not a builder so I'm confused how putting a concrete lintel on the external wall of the house enables the attachment of curtain rails on the inside wall. Will the internal walls be modified as well.

@thingamajig4102 not strange at all . Window frames that stop at the ceiling leaving nowhere to hang curtains looks a hell of a lot worse
