I started snowboarding at 45 and thought that I needed step-ins. Now at 62 I love my union force bindings. I need the bending over to strap in. I’m not in that big of a hurry to save 1 minute for another lap. Step-ins are nice and have come a long way but they are stiffer and I need the stretching and reaching for my well being.
I’ve ridden the trilogy for years - the women’s version of force - I absolutely love them speed park hard carving backcountry double blacks - work great for all

I do ride the Force, and definitely do love them too! But I did break the ankle strap, despite that little system. The good thing is that Union replaces spare parts. 💚
You’ve said you like softer, playful feel, but all reviewers keep saying, that Classic Force are stiffer than Force (2024). Which of these you feel softer?
Thanks for the review. I just bought a gnu riders choice 24 and don't know which bindings to get. I'm not really a park rider, occasionally hitting jumps, but looking for more butters and presses then with my current board. More of an all mountain freestyle rider, with sidehits and tree riding but when there's powder i will always ride powder first. I'm between the stratas and the forces... Was interested in the ultras first, but since they have no forward lean adjustability i'm less conviced. Hope you can give me some advice, thanks✌️
How solid are the high backs? My contact pros felt so damn flimsy and caused a weird feeling when getting the board up on edge going onto my heels. EDIT: you answered me question In the first 1:30. Thanks!
I think that toe strap is annoying because it always falls into the notch that i don't want (the one towards the heel cup) and almost everytime I buckle the toe strap I have to manually put it in the notch I want (the one towards the toe edge). I was thinking of taking the binding off and gluing somethin in the notch i don't want.
The Force got fully redesigned for the 2023/24 season and features Union's S9 Duraflex ST Baseplate, new toe and ankle straps, plus a few other details that make it a step up in comfort and tech from the Force Classic binding with it's Stage 4 Duraflex ST Baseplate, Exoframe 4.0 ankle strap, and TS 2.0 Rhombus toe straps. Find the latest Union binding features on the Force compared to the Force Classic for a step up in comfort and dampening.
We'd say these would pair with the Jones Frontier nicely since you won't immediately "outgrow" the capabilities of the binding as your progress in your riding!
What would you reccomend for a "Yes Dicey 2020-2021" New Force, Ultra or Strata. I am mainly riding on groomed slopes. My level is beginner-intermediate.

Get the Force for the latest features from Union, like the S9 Duraflex ST Baseplate and new toe and ankle straps or get the Force Classic if you're looking for the feel of the tried and true Stage 4 Duraflex ST Baseplate.
@@shamalajan I'd recommend pairing the Union Force bindings with a CAPiTA Mega Merc for a snappy response and fully unlock that board's capabilities across all terrain! - HB
@@TheBombHoleFinally someone who agrees with what I felt when riding my Mega Merc! Everyone says, "get Atlas's to unlock the true potential of that board." But all I felt with Atlas's was every nook and cranny on the mountain! After 3 days of riding the new Atlas's, I switched back to my Forces and guess what? Wait for dramatic response.... My board was still fast AF, it still held tight lines, still initiated turns quickly and flipped switch, still floated POW through tree lines, was still super responsive, and had some cushion for the pushin. I am starting to think these Union Atlas guys have never rode Forces. This is also my 30th riding for what it's worth.

Switch from flux bindings that would ice up often and the toe ratchets wouldn’t work. UNIONS force bindings that I have now have never iced up on me.

I'd say pair the Dicey up with Union Strata bindings since it'll compliment the flex and riding profile of the Dicey nicely - Holden
