молодец! настоящий мастер своего дела.
You should invest in a small like er32 collet set to use as your milling attachment. Jacobs chucks are not good for milling. I'm impressed it works so well for you though. Lots of good knowledge here
Takes me back to a kid and my mates dad rest his sole used to have a shed of odd tool we could never figure out untill he showed us plonk was a legend . Sont get thus engineering any more and health and safety would not understand

S45C is equivalent to EN8. On a manual lathe you'll get a better finish using HSS tools and taking deep cut, rather than using what looks like braised carbide

How to make a tool for building splines in cylindrical bushings or couplings????
Lets say rectangular shaped splines and 11 of them, sometimes i wonder if there possibility building a broach or cutter that can cut all splines per single pass????
The only thing that can restrict you by using a lathe is the imagination...as far i can tell,in your case imagination is beyond limitation...keep up!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

4:28 If you turned the compound (topslide) to an angle, and fed the work using the compound feed handle, you would create an ellipse!
Thank you for the advice

Наша песня хороша начинай с начало. Маски им опять понадобились. Неужели люди сново позволят себя обмануть
Someone is as creative as Mesin Machine Mekanik or is similarly creative. Hopefully when I get my lathe I too will be able to make much of my own tooling instead of having to buy expensive tooling. As a WANNABE Machinist it always enjoyable seeing a MACHINIST that can do with what they have and some otherwise scrap metal being repurposed have to make what they need to do income producing jobbing tools and skills.
Of course, hopefully you can soon own a lathe
En los colegios no se pierde el tiempo con cosas de esas que luego en la practica funcionaran mal, resumiendo en español....Quien no tiene otra cosa con su mujer se acuesta.
Gracias
когда коту нечего делать он чтото лижет...
I am imperssed... The word "Can't" isn't in your dictionary. I really liked the splines. Saw them in another video and thought they were repurposed CV joint splines. Good job!
Что это за бред?
