It's been said that Eminem spazzed on the third verse, cause that was supposed to be Juice's verse. Since Juice only got to record the chorus before his passing, Eminem put in the section that broke his previous record on syllables per second in a single section, just so "Godzilla (feat. Juice WRLD)" would just be everywhere after that, breaking records, spreading and honoring Juice. Eminem even dedicated the entire album this was off of to Juice's memory. If you get a Music To Be Murdered by CD and flip to the last page of the booklet, at the bottom it will say "Dedicated to the memory of Juice WRLD, R.I.P."
Juice would have had a bigger part in this song but he passed before it was finished so Eminem put everything he had into this song and broke his own world record for fastest verse
this song is 2 years old and eminem has been sober and off of drugs for over 11 years now, but still references his drug and alcohol use in modern songs even though he doesn't do them anymore
I think it's more about how even if you're sober you will always be an addict. It's always there in the back of your head just a thought like, "it'd be easier if I just got faded" then the thought passes. "An Adderall would help" "a line could liven me up for the night" "just one shot couldn't hurt" it's always there
@@konan2206 That is very true, the saying goes once an addict always an addict. The only difference is if you're a recovering addict or an active addict
Another cool thing about this video is around 7:08 when Eminem is standing on a pile of albums, they're not only his own albums, but Juice's albums are in the pile and floating around the screen too.
i'm truly impressed by how you are able to catch eminem's lyrics even with his fast flow! I didn't expect that at all because you barely ever see people being able to do so on youtube.
He's reading them with the song..... Clearly... Also this song in brief, is that Eminem is older, but he can keep up with the best of them, in fact, fuck the rest, he's still on top of the game. Not only can he spit lyrical obstacles, he does it in a way no one else can.
Hey man, do not apologize for pausing, definitely don't hold back on it and don't worry about video lengths! The most boring reactions are the ones where the person just sits, watches and ends ASAP asking for subscriptions without providing any genuine (keyword here) reaction or feedback! Nice video and you did pretty good with the bars actually, even the visual ones!
Thanks so much! I am loving this and I’m so thankful for your feedback and patience. Can’t wait for the next eminem!😁😁😁 appreciate you watching battoosh!👍
Also, Deja Vu from Eminem is a phenomenal song, or Going thru Changes, it all came from Relapse (2009) and Recovery (2010) Which were first few albums he did being sober.
Cool thing about the video, when em is standing on all of the cds of his albums there is also cds of juice wrld, but they're floating in the air. Really thoughtful. 999 LLJW
Thanks for these videos. I have a friend that grew up with juice wrld and would always tell me stories about how they would skip class to go to the studio or play basketball. He seemed like a genuine dude, wish I could’ve met him.
Beautiful by Eminem is a nice insight into his depression struggles and anxiety, make sure to have the full version, the video does not have the last verse.

I was in awe when they dropped a song together, even though it came out after he died, Juice WRLD’s manager said they worked together on it in the studio. That’s really cool because I know Juice was inspired by Em, I just wish there was a picture with them 2 to back it up😂
10:10 theres a song playing in the background that is one of Eminem's old songs that talks about him getting knocked out by Mike Tyson (if you listen you can hear him say "get knocked out by Mike Tyson" in the video)
This is a song that I’ve listened to probably a hundred times and every time I catch something new. Not just the “words”, but the doubles and triples and the history
It's definitely after treatment. He refers to it a lot, it's his way of dealing with being an addict. His ability to describe/paint a picture is phenomenal!
Doc does a pretty good job breaking down these songs. He has a good grip on the concepts of the artist’s mind and what’s being said. It’s cool to see someone other than another rapper or heavy rap fan do a breakdown. Keep up the good work, Doc.
Just thought of making this random comment to fetch some explanations and stuff into the mix: Eminem's 11 years sober, but occasionally snaps back to talk about it. If you ever come across "Rap Devil" by MGK and "Killshot" by Eminem, listen to them in that order and you'll get more lines related to it. Eminem used to be a druggie and used to drink, but he dropped it all to have a better life. He's spoken about a lot of the issues it caused in previous music and well, it's something that all of us should learn from. The older Eminem cameo is ALSO, besides the flyer scene seen visible playing the patient in the restraints on the hospital bed earlier on in the video. I know who that is from a REACT youtube video where the person mentioned and spoke about it and all that, just thought it'd be viable information to know they were the same person. Also, you won't get every single piece of lyrical play and etcetera when you listen/watch the first time. That's the crazy thing. With many artists it's easier, as they're less complex in word-play and delivery, but Eminem has developed such a interesting vocabulary and rhyme-scheme, which is still hard to understand even for people who listen to rap daily and usually catch all the secret meanings in little time. Another thing, you make great content, I actually love how chill and leaned back you are and it's really nice. It's like being in a therapy analyzing a music video with your psychologist/therapist. Definitely subbing now!

Hey man love the Juice WRLD reactions, if you're looking into new artists for the channel I recommend Logic! Mainly his older stuff like Gang Related, Under Pressure and Nikki. I feel like you would also love and appreciate the message in 1800
I knew you'd have no shot to catch the fast bars...been a lifelong fan who's tuned my ears to rap and no shot on first listen to appreciate just HOW amazing it is.
Randomly stumbled on your channel and enjoyed what I've seen so far. If you want to check out an absolutely brilliant dark storytelling experience you have to listen to Immortal Technique's Dance with the Devil. It is a little graphic so be warned but imo it's the best storytelling rap song ever done.
This was the first song with juice as a feature (maybe even released but I’m rusty on that info) that dropped after he died. And it was eminem. Arguably the greatest rapper of all time. Knowing how much juice looked up to eminem and the fact juice probably knew about Godzilla and maybe would’ve had a verse if timing wasn’t unfortunate saddens me so much. All of his potential gone
I just saw this channel come across my list. I absolutely LOVE your perspective on this. I'm a metalhead, but, I grew up in So Cal in the 80s and 90s, so, I was there for the birth of gangsta rap. I found Em when his first album came out, and have been a dedicated fan every day since then. You did so much better at that then I thought you would! Great job!! I’m becoming more and more of a fan of this channel. I was interested on your take on him puking up legos, I haven’t quite figured that out.
I think you did well breaking down the song love your videos keep it up
Hey man love the Juice WRLD reactions, if you're looking into new artists for the channel I recommend Logic! Mainly his older stuff like Gang Related, Under Pressure and Nikki. I feel like you would also love and appreciate the message in 1800
Yes!!! Definitely 1800
Man, gang related is just so good
I knew you'd have no shot to catch the fast bars...been a lifelong fan who's tuned my ears to rap and no shot on first listen to appreciate just HOW amazing it is.
U did awesome man! More Em!!
Yesss I loved watching ice road truckers with my dad when I was growing up!
More therapists should do reactions and more therapists in general should come with an angle more like yours
Please react to “Adore You” by Juice WRLD! It’s a great unreleased song by him.
Great job!! Earned a new subscriber! Very entertaining with such a great breakdown !
I just noticed when he’s putting himself if they trunk it directly relates to the cover for the Slim Shady LP
Love your reactions Tom!!!
Please do Eminem When im gone ! Great song !
A therori i came up with while watching this is that he is puking Lego to Le'i'go (let it go) (6:50)
His face during that last fast part is hilarious. Your videos are awesome
You also HAVE to react to “Lose Yourself, By Eminem.” It’s one of Eminem’s best songs EVER! (Obviously, including this one, too.)
In a addict's world
You can lose your self and find yourself at the same time
There's the affliction
There's the monster
Randomly stumbled on your channel and enjoyed what I've seen so far. If you want to check out an absolutely brilliant dark storytelling experience you have to listen to Immortal Technique's Dance with the Devil.
It is a little graphic so be warned but imo it's the best storytelling rap song ever done.
Godzilla is the King of the Monsters and yeah I think that's what they were going for
Him putting his old self in the trunk of the car is also a reference to his album cover on “the slim shady LP”
I listen to u when I work out I can listen to u for hours it’s calming and it’s music I love
I’m so excited you did this!!!
Eminem and juice are my favorite artists I was so excited when this song came out and it’s sad they didn’t get to make more songs together 😭
The Only , The ABSOLUTE GOAT of HIP HOP/ RAP, THE GENIUS: EMINEM 👏❤️🤗🔥. I am a STAN for life . 😉
I love seeing what people who don't really know this kind of music delve into it, and I think your perspective is really interesting. I'm sub'd after one video LOL
