    Hi MG, nice tutorial, very well covered all the steps.
    FYI and to save you venting so many times you can use an airlock bubbler. Very easy to fit to the bottle cap. Or what I do is use a length of 5mm plastic tube from the cap going into a half filled water bottle. Both these methods are great as you can see when fermentation activity is slowing down or complete, whilst at the same time the water trap won't allow any bacteria to get in.

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  3 роки тому +2

      Thanks for the positive feedback Sir, you are absolutely right while mentioning the usage of air locks, but during the time of Covid lockdown when I made these videos, I wanted to demonstrate all possible conservative ways to make things at home. In future you might find homemade airlock in upcoming recipe videos. Thanks for watching and take care 👍👍👍👍

    • @juliencomeault3709
      @juliencomeault3709 Рік тому

      Allowing it to degas freely might change the outcome. In some situations yeasts produce less undesirable compounds when under pressure, and having no pressure would affect the carbonation. Of course one might try an airlock in the beginning and cap it tightly later on.

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  Рік тому

      You can consume if it gives you required punch/heat. Storing is simple, either in winter temperature somewhere in dark, or simply in fridge. However, keeping in fridge as of now will kill all fermentation process if still happening. So try to keep it out till you consume on new year. If anything is left, you can store it later in fridge. Good luck and wish you a very Happy New Year!

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  3 роки тому +1

      See you can keep in refrigerator only if fermentation has completely stopped. If you want to store it for long, use a glass bottle and fill wine till brim and tighten the lid back. Filling it up till brim, will leave no air inside and wine will last for very long. Before consuming, you can refrigerate it for a few hour.
      For storage, keep it in a cool and dark place. Cool means around 26 degrees or below. Dark means absolutely no light. You can keep it any closet in any room where there is cold inside.
      For filtration, I will suggest using sedimentation process after your filter out everything in a sieve. Preferably use a soup sieve that has tiniest holes, so that you can get a clear product. If you don't have that kind of sieve, please use a folded cheese cloth or multiple layers of a clean hanky.
      Before using all these bottles or sieve or tumblers, make sure everything is sterilized with steam or hot water.
      Hope it will help.

      Use the powdered form of jaggery, which is a raw form of sugar. Jaggery is not suggestible. Hope you understand which brown sugar I am talking about. Making jaggery powder would be difficult at home.

      Hi Mr Harish, I suggest to use Coca-Cola, it tastes best with Coke, but if its not available, you are most welcome to use Pepsi 👍

      I suggest not to try that. Archis is absolutely right, there is a possibility of bottles getting bust which could be harmful.

      @@MGTheories Man watching your video inspired me to make 4 litres of beer for me and my friends but one thing I would like to tell is that my beer smelled really good but taste turned out to be a bit bitter than what i was expecting . Can you please tell me why would it become bitter ?

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  4 роки тому

      First of all I want to thank you for positive feedback and sorry to hear that your beer is tasting bitter. There could be multiple reasons:
      1. Water quality
      2. Ginger quality
      3. Yeast quality
      4. After how many days you kept in referigrator?
      This is the first time I am hearing this feedback from anyone like this. May I know if you tweaked the recipe in any way?

    Is it safe to boil coke with citric acid(lemon) ?

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  4 роки тому

      Yes, we have been doing so. If you are worried, you can take out juice and boil the zest in the content. You can later put lemon juice back.

      Wow. Nice. Thanks for sharing. How is the taste like? Like the regular beer(carlsberg or kingfisher ultra) or it is more towards sweeter side?

    • @MGTheories
      @MGTheories  4 роки тому

      It's more on the comforting side. Regular beer is quite different from this homemade products and involves more brewing science. This one is very simple, yet worth👍👍👍👍

      Hey brother. I made the beer myself and it is currently fermenting for past 4-5 days. I have kept in 2 seperate bottles. One bottle(the bigger one) when open release some smoky fumes from it, which can be seen from eyes, like we see from testtubes. And the other bottle doesnt produce CO2 anymore. I mean, no foam or fumes from the smaller bottle. Can you please tell me if this is normal, or what might be happening if this is not normal.
