Very meticulous process of making wine. Learned a lot from your channel. I usually make grape wine without adding water and without yeast. I let them age for few months, it taste good but only small quantity I get from it. I loved your video.. Thanks a lot for sharing
Hallo Sir, what kind of yeast you have used to get 15-20% alcohol content? Normally ordinary yeast produces around 8 -10% alcohol. Red Star or Lalvin EC1118 dried wine yeast produces around 18% alcohol. These yeasts are very expensive. Each 5 gram packet costs around Rs220 to Rs350. Moreover this yeast has to be imported, minimum quantity: 10 packets. Please let me know which yeast you have used. I used Redstar wine yeast to make banana wine. I got very good result. I added yeast nutrient which had to be imported. Additionally I also used Tamarind juice and citric acid as acid blend and a big cup of strong black tea. Do you suggest the same acid blend, yeast nutrient and black tea for Grape Wine? Thanks.
Amazing!! Thanks for the detailed video and explaining the process. Though I work in an MNC, still love to cook. I enjoy making different dishes and enjoy with all. Awesome sir, you really explain everything nicely so it's easy to understand. I just want to ask can I add wheat also, if yes then how much and what will be the effect. Thanks and best of regards.
Hi Mr. Kenneth, thanks for such a positive feedback. Yes you can add a handful of clean organic wheat. It will enhance the flavors. There won't be any negative effect. Thanks for watching 🙏
Thorough process. Nicely explained. But I tend to use double the amount of grapes and half the amount of sugar as grapes have their natural sugar, so the taste is obviously better. But hats off to you. Just loved your video. Thanks so much
There is mathematical calculation to how much actual sugar you need. Using pure grape juice for wine enables it to survive several years during ageing. If you use water, then you need to drink it soon.
