- The Wide Window - A Series of Unfortunate Events | Book vs Netflix Series.
This is a review of The Wide Window from A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler). I talk about both the book and the Netflix series and discuss various things in both the book and the show. In short, the Netflix series is a great adaptation of the book.
Music: "Wind of Hope" from Audioblocks.
I like the part where Count Olaf predicts Aunt Josephine's death in the book.
The wide window is good, but exhausting. Minor nitpick about the TV series (which I like the series so far) is that Aunt Josephine is paranoid about many things in her house but a large statue holding a long sword is of no concern to safety? It’s not brought up or even considered when an obvious shaped outline outlines the cartoonish hole in the broken window until Josephine explains later
That's a good point. I guess I never thought of that. In the show, it seemed like she was afraid of a lot of electrical things more than sharp objects. Still, good point.
I think some of the more ridiculous moments were intentionally supposed to be absurd. I understand if you don’t love it, but I think it’s definitely the point. To establish that they’re in a world where more absurd things like that happen.
Are you gonna do this for season 3
Maybe. I'm not sure when Season 3 is coming out though.
Minute Book Reports They said it was coming out in spring of 2019
Bode a layer
I know that's how they pronounced their last names in the show, but I pronounce it differently. If you didn't hear someone pronounce "Baudelaire" how would you pronounce it?
HOW MANY LIKES FOR AGAIN FIRST COMMENT........PLZ (BIDAWAY YOU ARE VERY GREAT)
