They're not fools though, they are fast working VFX artists.
You always have to consider, as a vfx or 3d artist, you always have a timeframe for your work, that you, yourself, determine. So you wanna leave yourself enough downtime. Especially when you're working on projects with a budget, then you always have in the back of your mind: "the longer I take, the lower my income per hour is". :)
