Kush's tip for noting down what your date orders at restaurants before cooking a date dinner at home is genius! I'm in a long term relationship, but I think taking that energy into friendships would also be great
and for the break up meal, cook the opposite. The day my fiancee and I split, she made Eggs Benedict for breakfast. We'd literally never eaten that because she dislikes egg dishes. That's when I knew it was completely over. Also I dislike Eggs Benedict.
I am absolutely loving the switch back to more "human interaction" content. By this I mean keeping in the silliness between all the boys, the bloopers, the more personal side. It feels like a homage back to the content I fell in love with 10 years ago. Good work team!
I couldn't agree more! Some of the newer content feels a bit too over-produced compared to the feeling of the original Fridge Cams and stuff so it's nice having it go back in this direction :)
maybe they need a new format to get them involved from behind the camera, or maybe have the guys try and remember their camera skills from the old days and get the crew to cook for them instead
Its so clear how talented Kush in when he not only considers the taste, textures, and accessibility of dishes but also the body language involved in the meal itself. Including the intimacy of a shared plate in a 3-course date was unexpectedly fabulous. Can't wait to see more videos from him!
The shout out from Kush to his inspiration was a class act. Can you get someone on that makes Kush feel the same as Barry and Jamie did in this video, in awe of the skill and elegance. High end food made easy
I think Kush’s talent is not only his cooking but his communication skills. He is super clear in his explanations, witty, and seems very genuine. I love Ben for the same reason and it’s such a treat to have two amazing chefs who know how to explain things so well ❤
Ahh, this video gave such Big Night In vibes... Loved so much of it. The absolute ease that Kush seemed to have in front of the camera. The knowledge, tips, and tricks he kept sharing. The shoutouts he gave for his dishes. The banter with the boys, on camera, and off camera. The advice for Izzy with air fryers. It was such a soothing video to watch. Thank you for this upload today @Sorted Food. Also, this was comedy gold. Jamie being condescending to Barry, Barry rolling his eyes, Mike calling Jamie out, and finally the phone call to Lucy. Poor Lucy...
Kush is such a gem to have on this channel. Culinary titan, funny, and HUMBLE-him shouting out his inspirations and giving credit to the recipes absolutely showed his humility. Any episode with Kush is a good episode. Keep them coming please please please!
This could be a once a month program - pick a holiday or special date each month and let Kush riff on it the way he would want to cook and eat for that day. St. Patrick’s day…Easter…your bank holidays (something in season?)…and so on. Just a thought. Anything to get more of Kush and the boys having a chat while he’s cooking and teaching.
I just love how intently Jamie watches what Kush is doing. He truly seems to love learning from Kush as much as the rest of us. In this video he barely takes his eyes off him to engage with Baz, and in the Thanksgiving episode Kush had him come in close to get a good view - Kush is an amazing instructor and presenter and I am so thrilled he has moved in front of the camera!
This is the type of video I come to Sorted for. Relaxed, no gimmick, timed to teach us something, and expand our repertoire. I would love to see Kush show us what he cooks on an average Tuesday. Normal cooking, with that extra chef flair .
Stunning. I'm really loving the new dynamic Kush is bringing - this was absolutely amazing and full of brilliant ideas. Additionally though, it's awesome having another chef so that Ebbers has someone to nerd out with - but with a unique style. You chaps are just going from strength to strength.
I’ve used this video to make the dessert, the shallot butter and the potatoes and the dressed cabbage. I think I’ve come back to this video the most out of any of y’all’s. This is really well done, explained in a wonderful, easy to understand and clear manner. It has provided great results for me in matters of the end product and we’ve enjoyed it all the times I’ve made it. Thank you! Having kush around has truly leveled up your recipes imo!
OMG!!!!! Next year PLEASE post this a couple days before Valentines day. So many great things that I can't pull off between now and dinner tonight. lol
It's wonderful seeing Kush become more and more comfortable in front of the camera. He has a lovely personality, and an exquisite knowledge of cooking which is a joy to watch him share.
Nice ideas using simple, honest ingredients. Every hobby chef must appreciate Kush’s true professionalism in this video: No stress and chaos, just precision, planning and timing. Then add the free-flowing humor, friendly bantering and a weird, dangerous oil experiment for some spice. Good show!
You lads are adorable. All of you. I love how you all love each other and aren't afraid to show it, lean into it, and be silly with it. Oh, and the food? Yes please. That looks incredible. So glad to be a subscriber, and I will TOTALLY be getting the Sorted app as soon as I can. Cheers and happy Valentine's Day from the middle of Canada!
Thanks Kush for showing how you cook. I am not a good cook, not interested enough in eating fancy food, but I just love watching cooking shows and Sorted are the best!
Second that. The seriously lovely vibe between these lads, the fraternal love they have for each other, is what kept me coming back to SortedFood's content among all the other cooking stuff out there. Food served warm and cuddly 😁
Kush attributing the components that were inspired by other chefs is both so classy and a wonderful testament to his creativity and respect for food as an art form. Love him dropping a bibliography like that right at the end. 😊
I’ve not watched the video yet as we will be watching during tonight’s dinner. Our Valentines Menu: Pan Seared Butter Garlic Scallops. Served with Crusty Bread. Chicken Picatta. (By request, but I’ve not ever cooked, nor eaten capers, but she loves this dish) Individual baked Brownies (edge pieces for all) with a cream cheese topping. Thank you, as I would never have attempted scallop or the chicken dish before I started watching you guys. As for the Brownies and cream cheese topping these are old hat. Cheers and Happy Valentines!❤
(499) Chef Kush is very relatable. He just oozes confidence and his insistence that a home cook can do what he can do (with certain things being taboo, due to danger) really makes a person feel "Hey, I CAN do that!!!". Preparing food should be fueled by ones' passion for cooking. Not EVERYBODY can do it, but I feel a lot of people would surprise themselves if they just TRY.
I just LOVE the Kush Unleashed format. He's an incredible chef full of knowledge, tips and humour and acts totally natural in front of the camera. I would love see Kush take on an easter brunch PLEASE. I love easter brunches (and brunches in general) and can't wait for new and genious ideas 😊👌
Kush is just awesome. He's the best addition to the team you could have asked for, not only is he a great chef but he's also weird, funny and creative which just fits perfectly with all the boys.
Man! This was a joy! Kush very calmly being a badass chef just cooking. The banter between everyone (and Lucy). The really chill background music. Plus it's so satisfying how cleanly Kush works. Great video!
This was a great video. Kush is a pro in front of the camera and teaching us normals, but there was also an extra professional feel to this video. Knocked it out of the park!
Love Kush. He has such confidence and expertise. I also really appreciate the chemistry the whole team has. Thanks for another really awesome video. And thank you Izzie for coming in clutch with the air fryer question.
In the middle of a family crisis so missed this upload yesterday. In a waiting room right now and this is actually making me smile. Somewhere in the world there are good, supportive friends- gives hope. Thank you, Sorted Team for consistently being the bright spot in a difficult time, pulling so many of us through rough times.

I so appreciate Kush shouting out other chefs. Giving other people credit isn't something I see very often in cooking//foodie content; it's refreshing to see it here.
I loved Kush naming his inspirations at the end, cos we always play with someone else's recipes to make it our own, and it was great to see him acknowledging all the effort other chefs have put in
Something neat you can do with the fried pork skin concept is actually pull the skin off once it's prepared, cut it into a lattice pattern, lay it over a bun, and then do the oil to give your buns a nice crunch and appearance. Especially nice if you're making pulled pork sandwiches.
I wanna see Kush do a vegan challenge! I've seen some really weird and disappointing things on the vegan side of menus like a leek in pastry as a replacement for a wellington (for the same price!) - how do you do luxury when you don't have meat?
You know, like the Christmas meal, if you released these videos BEFORE the day they are themed for that include things that need to be prepped and cooked days in advance, it would be a lot more helpful for people who want to try them!
Love Kush. Sensational chef, excellent teacher, fun friend, knowledgeable on food, easy on the eye and yeah, love Kush. Great addition to the in front of the camera team and I’m really glad he was coaxed out of the back kitchen ❤
I could watch Kush cook all day long! He's supper passionate about it and explains everything simply. My Valentine's Day is now complete! Thanks Kush and company :) And no one has mentioned Jamie's Orange underwear??
Scottish guy here, Can Kush pimp a meal around haggis? I've tried haggis its nice but don'treally get round to eating it at all these days. one thing I love that my local takeaway (not sure if its indian or pakistany ect) used to make was Donner pakora. Which was Donner meat quite chunky done in a pakora batter. that was awesome, I wonder if you can marry the two with a Donner and Haggis Pakora? Garlic naan would be a must though
Kush has got me so interested in food, the way he speak about it is somehow really in depth but also very accessible, it’s not a knock on Ben but kush is how we all want teachers to be. Also you can see the passion he has for food and the different techniques he’s picked up for working is different kitchens.
This was quite the episode, I'll be sure to keep it somewhere for this weekend. A quick question, is charred lettuce and red onions a British thing or is Sorted just a big fan of those two?
Love this format, and it needs two normals on the side for Kush to teach because it's clear how much Kush loves that part of it. The one with Ben on the side didn't work as well imo.
I have a great recipe for chocolate truffles. Melt an equal volume(to the cream cheese) of chocolate chips and mix with cream cheese. Chill and roll into balls. Chill then dip in more melted chocolate, chill again. Done. I like using strawberry cream cheese and dark chocolate. I also suggest putting dried (like raisin consistency) in the middle of the ball.
that pork belly, except for the oil,is a very classic (1 of 2) norwegian christmas dinner in norway...i always enjoy it...takes hours to prep and a lot of stresss....but its stunning they call it "ribbe"

I absolutely love seeing what Kush can do, sharing his tips and advice and amazing skills! I would also love to see the food scraps challenge come back, but with Chef Kush using whatever scraps he gets from the Normal's dish, and coming up with something on the fly!
I love how much love Kush is getting! He’s so funny and great to watch, but I also learn so much from watching him cook. You can tell how incredibly skilled he is even when he’s in his chaos mode!
As much as I miss James, goddamn I am constantly enthralled when Kush is on screen. He is captivating, knowledgeable, confident, charismatic. He has fit into the Sorted family and channel so well. He has grown into his on camera role so well. I’m blown away every time he gets a video to shine.

I appreciate how Kush has eased into his in-front-of-camera role. Thank you Kush, I love listening to you sharing your knowledge, skill and wit.
Agreed. No disrespect to Ebbers and James but he's really knowledgable and fascinating to watch.
It was kinda same with James when he started to be on-screen chef instead of working in development kitchen.
I love how he makes the viewer feel more confident that they could, indeed, replicate this for a loved one. That's a rare skill.
I really like his passion and energy that seams to overspill to the others!
yeah kush being more and more in front of the camera has been one of my favorite changes to sorted
Kush properly giving credit to where he got inspiration is refreshing and really cool to see. Nicely done!
I've said it before, but the blatant love Kush has for food and feeding the boys is special.
Mesmerising to watch him work like this.
So glad you enjoy watching Kush cook!

Kush was an absolute find for this channel. He’s genuinely lovely and experienced. Has a lovely teaching style and really likeable. Good job sorted.
What's crazy is that he's been with them for a long time already. He just was never on camera
His teaching style is top notch for kitchens
Shout-out to Izzy asking the important questions for us! Love that the camera crew is just another part of the family and feel comfortable chiming in!

Kush is absolutely amazing at explaining what he does and why he does it. Truly an amazing teacher!
