What is roblox?
ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, Roblox is Kid friendly, PG, Family Friendly + No Swearing but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, to a giant pinball mac!

Oh my god... I agree WHOLE HEARTEDLY about the thing you said about art class!
Back when I started middle school, I really REALLY wanted to take an art class, but my parents wanted me to start playing an instrument. In 6th grade, we only had the option of one elective, meaning I couldn't have both. In the end I chose Orchestra over my passion of drawing, and 11-year-old me was pissed! 😡 😡
Going into my 7th grade year, I was FINALLY able to get into Art class, because 7th graders could choose two electives! I was sooo happy I could have one of both worlds, cause I actually did start enjoying Orchestra thanks to our teacher at the time! 😋
But throughout the first month or two of taking art... I started to feel incredibly drained by the amount of assignments and lack of creativity we had. It was the type of class where we had to copy pictures from magazines and draw all these realistic figures, when I was really into the anime style at the time! There was absolutely NO creative freedom in it, cause the teacher and the algorithm (probably not using the right word) was so focused on realism and anatomically accurate portraits... everything I hated about art, pretty much!
I was so devastated art class ended up being the exact opposite of what I dreamed it would be. ☹I ended up not going back till 9th grade, which was during Covid. I stayed in art till 10th grade, which landed me in Art III. We got a LITTLE more creative freedom going up the ladder, but by then... I felt so isolated from the rest of the class. The higher up you go in the class, the more you see people who're actually REALLY good at art, and not just taking the class for graduation credit! You'd think that'd motivate me a little, but it actually did the opposite. Art class diminished my self-confidence, and almost tried to force me to play by the books while slowly sucking away the thing that made me and my style stand out from the rest. Plus... my Art III teacher DEFINITELY chose favorites, which didn't help at all!
Fast forward 5 years since I took my first art class... I'm now a Senior in High School. I still love drawing, and I've grown so much since my first portfolio. But the thing that I realized after all this time... That decision my parents made to force me into playing an instrument... quite honestly saved me! I've stuck with Orchestra all the way through since 6th grade, and I love it probably just as much as I love drawing, because guess what... I actually have a passion for music too! ♬ ❤
It still makes me really sad how the school system deals with art classes. I think the best way to put it is that it's not for everyone. In the current digital age we're in where anime, CGI, and many different types of impressionistic art styles are dominating our generation and the way we look at art as a whole, traditional art classes aren't fitting the demographic anymore. I used to want to graduate and major in art growing up, but now I'm debating between a music, or writing, or acting degree... (still haven't decided yet)
I know you were just randomly bringing this up as a rambling topic, but thank you for even mentioning it! 💜💜
I absolutely love your builds and you give me a lot of inspiration to get back into Bloxburg and build something fun and exciting! I'm loving this more real side of you as well. Your stories genuinely captivate me to keep watching. It feels kinda calming, in a way! Keep up the great work, as always! 👍🏽👍🏽

i can relate to you very much, especcialy the things u said abt art class and stuff, as an "artist" (i draw for myself only i dont share my stuff and its an artsyle, so idrk if im rly considered an artist) i have a sketchbook and i know that my sketchbook is the only safe place i have for my thoughts and feelings, and i draw in my sketchbook only when i fee l like it yk? when im in an art block i try to force myself to draw something, but if that doesnt work out i just let it go away by itself, and being in art class in school , like u said, where you're forced to draw something especially something that youre not familiar with is really hard. people can tell u "but youre so good at art why are u not doing good in art class?", and its because, like u said, i dont force myself to draw, i draw whenver i feel like it and i draw whatever comes on my mind and i have all the freedom to draw whatever i want. but in art class its so difficult having a specific style, equipment, colours and time ,all stressing you out:((
When I first realized you were making this series I got so excited! As a Filipino/American I am really excited to watch this with my mom and learn about my culture with her. Tysm for making this new town. ❤

I am a bit tight on the budget but i believe that just adds to the vibe because the country i live in (Bosnia and Herzegovina) sadly is quite poor and poverty is not uncommon there,i love these calmer vids! A little suggestion but i think you should add some eatery like for lugaw and tapsilog since i usually see some of them near the church here in my city
(The eatery doesnt have to be that big btw, it can be like 3 by 5 or anything that fits your style)
Or maybe lutong ulam (cooked meal)
Like maybe put it outside of one of the houses then put grill and an umbrella then put a sign that's says

Can I suggest to have a basketball court with a stage in it because I think every place in the Philippines has a basketball court in it and almost every Filipino always goes to the court to play. Basketball court can be used in any events like school events, sports events and etc.

you should definitely add a palenque/palengke to this build, basically a permanent market!! usually fruit, veggies, fish, clothes, jewelry and shoes are sold there and there can be multiple floors to it

You should build a Filipino 🍭candy shop🍬 where locals/kids can buy!
Backstory: The grandma loves kids and opens up a candy shop to see the kids having fun, but she ends up ill so she lets her grand daughter (a teen) to sell sweets to customers during her summer break. Tourists go there because it is a popular place, The grandma is happy that her candy shop is booming :D
Name for grandma: Lola Maria
Lola means Grandma (for anyone wondering)

I’m so glad I discovered your channel when you posted the Palm Bliss Luxury Resort, because YOU changed EVERYTHING. My building improved so much when I started watching you, I wanted to build the hotel, I did, but yours is better 🥲. And I didn’t even see it once in-game, I would like to, but I just can’t, bc I live in Europe and your events are like in 3 am, sad xD. And the next thing, you post the events 10 minutes before and I just can’t check discord every 5 minutes, bc I listen to music and I don’t even hear the notification lol. However, I most likely won't be in the same school as them again and I am skipping a semester or two so the next one I will be going to would 100% be different. u should do the one we called “looban” it’s like a really small road path and when u go inside there’s a lot of houses, i don’t really know how to describe it, but we have a lot of looban in the philippines lol and im living on one of them haha, and also the local computer shop is a must that we call “pisonet” haha!!

I used to make Roblox games. Building is basically just basic shapes ya, but the textures are very limited. People do have packs of textures you can use. Coding does get difficult to learn but YT tutorials helped me a TON

I can totally relate to the story from class, these professors are intimidating. I had a professor give homework and then 5 minutes later in the same class complain that not many people did it yet 😭😭 I’m like sir you just gave it to us can you wait my gosh.

Many towns are based of NYC, LA etc. I love thiss, on the last video I watched from you I commented about a chicken restaurant or smth (I can’t really remember) I’m commenting this around the part where you added the electrical wires and stuff. Also I think it would be cool if you added maybe lemonade stands belonged to kids if thats a thing in the Philippines maybe you could add like clothing racks with wet clothing drying in the sun! This town is looking great panda!🤩 Love it so much, oh and a suggestion, you should add a like cultural center or something where there's a big stage and a big space for games like basketball volleyball badminton etc, hmmm you can also add like a little market, it could be a wet market or anything, because markets are like really common in the Philippines because most of our Filipino people depends on agriculture and fishery for living, and you can usually find them selling there crops or fishes in the markets so it's really a thing. Hmmm what else, oh! A little municipality or something, where the governor usually resides, i don't know on urban areas but usually here in the rural areas there's always a little municipality, where the captains and honorables work, you should add like a small health center too, this is where towns people go whenever they are sick or having a check up or something, not even half as big as an hospital, just a small clinic. Sorry if there's like many HAHAHA but these are some things i could recommend you to add on the town to give it a more Philippine vibe.
But overall the build is really amazing! So accurate! As a Filipino myself, I really appreciate this build panda!🤩
