Everything is looking great Craig and it’s pretty crazy to see your plants growing back so strongly in November! Hopefully we have a gradual transition into winter and the mild temperatures don’t end abruptly like last year 🤞
Hey ... Im in the north and I have two gardens separated by a path, in the old established garden everything is green and really healthy in its micro climate, but the new smaller garden everything has blackened up wilted and struggling already. thanks for the content Craig
Still looks great Craig! Here in New York, I am wondering if I can just keep Trachycarpus alive over winter in the ground… So I love the Brassiopsis and all the other plants that you’ve got growing on across the pond. (Thank you for the conversions to Fahrenheit 😜) I have my perennial agapanthus going to sleep, my Sabal minor palms still look fantastic, among others.
Love your videos craig, they're so informative and easy to understand at the same time and your passion for plants brightens my day. Keep them coming ❤
Cheers Craig. Great video. I've been wrapping bananas and tucking everything up today. My garden looks a bit worse for ware in the Peak District. I think I've had 4 frosts up to now😢. Semi tenders are a definite no no for me after last winter -12 is far much. But in a weird way its spurred me on to keep trying.
That’s the great thing about tropical style gardens, there’s always challenges that we can learn to negotiate. That said, -12°C is quite the challenge! Palms and larger waxy leaved evergreens will work for you. What’s a plant that has surprised you with its resilience in your garden?

I hope so too! I’m keeping a sharp eye on the forecast, though aren’t we all 😂

Hi there! It just shows the importance of establishing a good microclimate doesn’t it 🌴 Thanks for watching 😀

Thanks my friend. How cold do your winters get there? Trachycarpus will take down to -10°C here for a short while.

Craig can we see in your greenhouse some time again please.
Sure, it always gets very crowded in there at this time of the year but I’ll try and squeeze in there with the camera 📷 😀🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴
