Just a couple of questions Craig. I have a bathroom windowsill to junglify. It gets good light all day, albeit through frosted glass and maybe an hour or so of direct evening sun. Windowsill is abot 30 by 90cm. I was thinking of a planter with height restricted tetrapanax papyfira for a canopy, understory of that begonia and a few bromeliads, epiphytic and terrestrial. Do you think that would work? Does the tetra get a big rootball if kept height testricted. Ie. Am i likely to need a deep planter? 😁 Thank you. 🙂

That could work, but Tetrapanax do benefit from large containers for their roots 👍

Loved this Graig. I have a Maderense that should flower next year and another the year after. They are great plants. I have a geranium palmatum too. The leaves are really similar, it’s slightly smaller, but the flowers are the same, (fewer though.) It is though, reliably perennial and hardy, unlike Maderense, which dies after flowering.

Yes Geranium palmatum as another great one, we’ve currently got some growing from seed. 🌱

No problem, thanks for watching! The Brassaiopsis is a lot more easy to find in France that it is here in the UK 👍

Lovely, one of the Begonia I still want. I have Grandis 'Evansiana' and Grandis ssp. Holostyla 'Nanjiang Silver' in the garden at the moment, more will be added in the future :) Does this one also come up in may? I don't know if they all do...

    • @GrowParadise

They are all relatively late the join the garden party each year but it massively depends on the seasons weather really.
