WABDR SECTION 5-2 IN REVERSE - SPEED RUN

During the month of September 2024 my friend and I spent the better part of a week attempting to cover as much of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route as possible. We started at the end of section 5 (out of 6) t Conconully and traversed it in reverse to the best of our abilities.
We had to skip a few portions of the route due to road closures caused by forest fires, but still had a fantastic time soaking in the views of Washington state.
We concluded this adventure at the beginning of section 2 (Packwood) just in time to get a gorgeous view. Lots of cool campsites, lots of driving, and a great send off before I began my journey out of the country.
