@@andrewsmyth8615 I've two old car's a 1963 hillman husky and a 1968 riley elf auto with the ap Lockheed gearbox which you can have in auto mode or use the gear handle to select 1,2,3,4, I tell people it's like an early tiptronic lol

It's a common misconception that Goertz designed the Z. He was working on a project with Nissan on a sports car before the Z. That project was cancelled along with the Yamaha engine that was being designed for it. Goertz took his design to Toyota, as did Yamaha, and this became the Toyota 2000GT.

Lovely car, I have a 1979 260z in pieces, stripped down many year's ago, hope to get it restored but I'm getting to old
There are many old Datsuns that I wish I could buy/restore but unfortunately I too am too old for that now.

The Fairlady Z, 240Z was in fact designed by Yoshihiko Matsuo.
